Crusaders vs Reds (Friday 5.35pm AEDT)
The Crusaders are now on their final chance as they enter the final six weeks of the regular season in fourth place in the New Zealand conference. They will need to win almost all of their games for the remainder of the year and they can’t afford a slip up against the Reds in Christchurch. The Reds won’t offer much of a challenge as the Crusaders will almost certainly win but I like the Reds with the big lead on the line.

Rebels vs Blues (Friday 7.40pm AEDT)
The Rebels defeated the Chiefs at home last week to keep their slim hopes of a finals appearance alive. They will need to back that up with another victory at home against the lowly Blues. The Rebels have won the one meeting between these sides at AAMI Park and I expect the Rebels to win two on the trot.

Hurricanes vs Sharks (Saturday 5.35pm AEDT)
The Hurricanes have only lost the one match this year and are still going strong on the top of the table. They have lost their fly half Beauden Barrett for at least this match and it could hurt them because he is been their star player so far this season. They are at home against a Sharks side that was woeful last week, they will be looking to bounce. The Hurricanes will win, but at such a short price there is no value.

Western Force vs Waratahs (Saturday 7.40pm AEDT)
The Waratahs are finally starting to put in consistent performances and have climbed into finals contention and are close to the top of the Australian conference. A win against the Force is vital and they will be wanting to send the Force into an 11th straight loss as the Waratahs are the only side to lose to the Force this season and it came in the opening round.

Lions vs Highlanders (Saturday 11pm AEDT)
This is one of the closest games this weekend and it will have big implications on the finals. The Lions need a victory to stay within contention after their narrow loss to the Bulls last week. The Highlanders bounced back to form last week flogging the Sharks at home and they enter their three game road trip on Saturday and will want to continue this momentum away from home.

Stormers vs Brumbies (Sunday 1.05am AEDT)
The Brumbies suffered a narrow loss last week at home to the Waratahs and it was a big loss as they are now only one point ahead of the Tahs as they play two games in a row in South Africa before a bye. They need to make sure they get off to a good start against the Stormers and they have been successful at Newlands Rugby Stadium as they have split eight matches played there.
