2015 State of Origin: Game III Preview and Betting Tips

State of Origin Betting Tips

The 2015 State of Origin is coming to an end as we offer up our Origin Game 3 betting tips and outline some of the best State of Origin betting promotions around!

_ _ _

The State of Origin decider is on this Wednesday and for the first time this year it is New South Wales that have the bigger injury cloud surrounding key players. Michael Ennis is on standby for vice captain Robbie Farah who suffered a broken hand to go along with his shoulder complaint. If he is unable to play, Ennis will be a handy replacement but he is not as strong as Farah in both attack and defence. The Tigers captain is one of the best in the game at getting out of dummy half and drawing in the markers before giving the most space to his halves. Whilst he has also reached over 60 tackles in both Game 1 and Game 2 of this series.

Meanwhile Queensland have lost Billy Slater and Josh McGuire who have both suffered season ending injuries. Greg Inglis shifts to fullback and Josh Papali comes onto the bench for McGuire. The loss of Slater is a huge blow for Queensland as although GI is a terrific player, the difference in class was shown earlier in the season when Inglis wore the number one jersey for Australia in the absence of the injured Slater. The Kiwis dominated Australia in that match and Inglis made multiple errors as well as not making much impact throughout the match. He will need to have a big match and a lot of strong runs from the back to make sure Queensland get on the front foot early in their sets.

The return of Cooper Cronk also sees Daly Cherry Evans dropped from the side completely. Cronk was clearly missed by Queensland in Game 2 as DCE was criticised for his performance. The Melbourne Storm halfback has the best record at origin for any halfback as he has led his team to victory in 11 of the 15 matches he has played in. The game management and coolness under pressure of Cronk will likely be required as we anticipate another close match.

The bench of New South Wales will need to be dominant like it was in Game 2 if they are to come out victorious but with the match being played at Suncorp Stadium I expect Queensland to regain the shield.
