WrestleMania 42 is here and it will be held as a two-night event at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada. It will be held on Saturday and Sunday in the United States (Sunday and Monday morning AEST). Here is the full WrestleMania 42 schedule, plus our best bets for ‘The Grandest Stage of Them All.’

Cody Rhodes (c) vs. Randy Orton (with Pat McAfee)
The Undisputed WWE Championship is on the line when champion Cody Rhodes defends the prestigious belt against 14-time world champion Randy Orton. Accompanying “The Viper” to the ring will be former NFL punter-turned-commentator Pat McAfee. There is the added stipulation that if Orton doesn’t win against Rhodes, McAfee will walk away from wrestling television.
This match should be one of the highlights of the two nights, featuring two future Hall of Famers. Orton has not held a world championship since 2020, and you would have to think it’s about time he had his potential final world championship title reign. McAfee will almost certainly get involved in the match throughout, potentially costing Rhodes the belt.
Rhodes has tasted the ultimate success at WrestleMania 38 and 40, while losing at 39 and 41. That aspect does suggest that Cody could easily retain his title without shocking, but it would be great to see Orton on top once more.

CM Punk (c) vs. Roman Reigns
The “Best in the World” CM Punk is set to face “The Tribal Chief” Roman Reigns and my first thought is that WWE will put the belt back on Reigns. After all, he held the WWE Universal Championship for 1,316 days.
For CM Punk, he has held the World Heavyweight Championship since November when defeating Jey Uso. Again, that could be concerning as Reigns winning the title gives the belt a new champion, and Reigns has shown he thrives as the top dog in the company.
With the above prediction of Orton becoming a new champion, it would be a nice surprise to see one of the world champions retain their belt. Punk remains an instant drawcard, and he doesn’t boast a great WrestleMania record. He was unable to win the Triple Threat Match last year as Seth Rollins pinned Reigns thanks to the help of Paul Heyman. Punk deserves another WrestleMania moment – defeating Roman to retain his title would be that moment, so happy to go with that prediction as a big underdog.

Jade Cargill (c) vs. Rhea Ripley
The WWE Women’s Championship is on the line with champion Jade Cargill defending her belt against Rhea Ripley. Cargill has held the title since defeating Tiffany Stratton in November. Standing in her way is the Australian superstar Rhea Ripley who won the 2026 Elimination Chamber match in order to cement her title shot.
Ripley is already a three-time women’s world champion and it would seem highly likely she can capture her fourth by hitting the Riptide to defeat Cargill. With momentum on her side, Ripley deserves to rule the women’s division once more.

Oba Femi vs. Brock Lesnar
Night two will get off with a bang as one of the biggest names in WWE, Brock Lesnar, is ready to collide with rising star Oba Femi. With Lesnar in the twilight of his career, this is the perfect stage to pass the torch to an up-and-coming talent. Femi is going to be a huge drawcard for the company going forward and he desperately needs a massive victory like this to propel his career. Throw in the fact that Lesnar eliminated Femi at the Royal Rumble earlier in the year, and this is the perfect revenge moment for the young Nigerian talent.
