Warwick hosts an eight-race card on Wednesday to headline midweek racing in NSW. The first race commences at 12:15pm AEST and the last concludes at 4:20pm AEST. The rail is out 5m from the 100m mark to the winning post and out a remainder 3m for the rest of the track. Conditions are expected to be HEAVY, but fine weather predicted.

Race 4: All to Hard @ Vinery Stud BM64 1100m - 2:00pm (AEST)
(13) Setombe $4.20: 3YO filly who wasn’t all that far away in her first two career runs. Came back this prep with a handy win over this trip on the heavy deck. Looks as though she likes the give in the ground and gets that again here. Few weeks between runs, so expect her to be back ready for another heavy outing. Fitter now and gets a nice booking of Zac Lloyd in the saddle. Draws well and expect her to be going close here.
(5) Cosmonova $6.50: 3YO filly who is 2 from 3 runs. Returns today with two trials in the locker and likes the wet. Reece Jones remains in the saddle who is unbeaten on her and worth thought here.
(3) Llanddwyn $6.50: I’ve been keen on this one last two outings and was only narrowly beaten last start. Remains at the same class, but goes up a kg in weight. Early market drift is concerning, but J-Mac stays on, so must be another chance here.
(13) Setombe
$4.20 (1 Unit)
Race 5: James Squire BM72 2200m 2:35pm (AEST)
(5) Naval Commission $2.70: 4YO gelding out of Merchant Navy who has been terrific this prep with two wins and a second. Looks to make it a hattrick of wins now. Draws the pole, so expect him to get up on the pace and dictate the race before kicking clear and putting the others to the sword. Nash Rawiller in the saddle boosts confidence and he is rock hard fit for this here.
(3) Funambulist $4.80: 6YO who hasn’t been all that far away in recent outings. Rock hard fit and worth thought again. One for the exotics.
(11) Yet He Moves $8.00/$2.45: Beaten by a long way last two runs, but is capable of a better showing. J-Mac remains on and up to 2200m might help? Worth an each way play here if he turns up.

Race 8: Admire Mars At Arrowfield 1600m BM72 – 4:20pm (AEST)
(2) Inquiring Minds $2.50: 4YO who has returned in good order this prep with a narrow defeat first up when carrying 61.5kg and then buttered up to score nicely second up at this track. Hard fit and capable of another good run.
(1) Loco $6.00: 4YO who was far from disgraced first up. Fitter now and has a good record over the mile. Draws wide, but expect him to slot in midfield with cover to allow for a late charge. Untested on the wet, but if he handles it and they are making ground he is a sniff.
(4) Rise To It $19/$4.20: Roughie of the field who won 4 of her last 5 runs last prep to finish it all off. Returns today first up and may need the run, but capable on his day if fit.
