Bendigo Racing Club hosts midweek racing this week and it looks to be a good meeting for punters with some quality midweekers running. Race one starts at 1:10pm (AEST) and the first race is a quality benchmark 64. The track is rated a Soft 5 and my best three plays of the day are below!

Bendigo Racing Tips: Wednesday, September 17th 2025
Race 3: Bendigo Matzda Maiden Plate 1100m - 2:20pm (AEST)
(4) Hyde Park Corner looks to be a good each-way chance in this after he picked up late lengths when 4th over 1000m at Hillside last start. The extra 100m looks suitable and the I am Invincible gelding gets the services of Jamie Melha at his second start which is a good indication that he has more to show.
(5) Jaguar Paw is on debut after winning a Cranbourne jumpout at his latest assignment. The Robbie Griffiths trained gelding has had a lot of jumpouts leading into his debut run and Luke Currie will have a well educated horse under him.
(1) Left Hook resumes and has drawn the inside for Blake Shinn. Was last at Geelong at hi latest race but won a jumpout with Shinn on last week.
(4) Hyde Park Corner Each-Way
$5.00/$1.90 (1 unit)
Race 6: Bendigo Maintenance Property Fillies and Mares Handicap 1100m - 4:05pm (AEST)
(2) Delicate Lady has drawn wide here but she is running very consistently this prep. Last start on August 28 she was beaten a nose when she ran on very well for Damien Lane at Bendigo displaying fast closing sectionals. That was on the Heavy though which she will not get this time. Thomas Stockdale is back on and he has already won on the mare.
(3) Furosshi has drawn well in 2 and is capable on all but Heavy tracks. She is very fit and did run very well when 2nd at this track two starts ago. WIllow is off but Shinn is on so an experienced jockey is a plus.
(4) Happy Tiers resumes off a spell after winning her maiden on debut. She box seated on that occasion and she stays at the same distance for her second start.
(2) Delicate Lady Each-Way
$5.50/$1.95 (1 unit)
Race 8: Catanach’s Jewellers Handicap 1400m - 5:15pm (AEST)
(14) Gold Medalist gets a 1.5kg claim in this race (57kg) which will help after he won at this track when favourite last start. Emily Pozman took the mare to 3rd position in the run before running away with the result and it did look as though she handled Bendigo well. She is unbeaten and this is harder again but if she gets a good start again she can be right in this. Can be slowly out the barriers so the first 100m is important.
(8) Entrusting will want the track to Dry out and if it does he is a big threat. Resuming and has won when first up previously. Has raced in the city before and this race looks easier than those. The stable (Hayes) is in form and will have him ready first up.
(12) Nic’s Choice was good last start when 2nd at Lakeside and it looks like he could improve more. Hasn’t placed in both runs on the Soft so will want to see a placing before i tip him for the win.
(14) Gold Medalist Each-Way
$8.50/$2.50 (1 unit)
