Heath is one of the original founders and the active Managing Director of The Trifect Group, the company that owns and operates Before You Bet.
Heath has worked in the wagering industry for two decades. Formally in the poker industry, Heath ran Australia's leading poker news portal before transitioning across to lead Before You Bet. Heath also manages other TTG projects that include our US based site Total Sports Picks and our daily fantasy sports website Daily Fantasy Rankings.
On Twitter, you'll find Heath providing unsolicited commentary on the latest cricket, darts or AFL matches, possibly cursing the misfortune of his beloved North Melbourne.
Heath will occasionally contribute content in these fields, but otherwise is left to manage operations which includes business development, affiliate partnerships and our content & editing team. Based on the South-West coast of Victoria, Jake has been an avid sports fanatic since he could walk. Aussie Rules, basketball, and soccer are his main three loves, but he's also got a soft spot for countless other sports.

Jack Tobin has a Bachelor of Media and Communications Degree, majoring in Sports Media, and has been part of the Before You Bet writing staff since 2019.
Jack is a sports fanatic but is particularly keen on Cricket, AFL, Basketball, NFL and Soccer where he has a keen eye for spotting a winner or three. Jack is still waiting for Essendon to win a final in the AFL, while he also supports the Miami Heat in the NBA, Manchester United in the EPL and the Seattle Seahawks in the NFL.
"Scooby" - NRL Expert

Scooby is our NRL guru with over ten years experience writing about rugby league with Before You Bet and previously at The Profits. His background is in playing and coaching but he's enjoyed the switch to share his knowledge through his articles, as well as sharing his thoughts on Twitter.
Scooby's strength is assessing the overall team - what they offer across the field in a match and how the ethos of a club contributes to their success. Momentum also has a major impact on sports, and Scooby likes to explore this, while underpinning his judgement against a solid basis of statistical analysis. When combined with the aforementioned points, it combines for a holistic approach towards betting on rugby league.
Scooby doesn't like to broadcast which team he supports to avoid any potential feelings of bias in his articles. Several people have attempted to guess who he supports based on his writing and the difference in selections suggests the balanced approach is working.
Other sports he enjoys include Cricket, Horse Racing and NFL. There is a reason why Scooby ‘clicked’ with BYB from Day 1 - he loves his sport as much as we do.
"Ace" aka Steve - Tennis Expert

Steve is based in Melbourne and has a keen interest in a number of sports, notably Tennis, AFL and NBA. Steve is our Tennis "Ace" as he follows the tour year-round, and has been posting Tennis previews on Twitter/X for over a decade as Australia's leading Tennis sports betting tipster. Steve previously wrote for The Profits and also contributes to The Hub on Betfair.
A physiotherapist by trade, Steve also uses his knowledge in attempts to gain an edge situationally, in addition to his keen interest in the numbers and maths behind betting.
Steve follows the Tennis too closely to have a favourite player, supports Collingwood in the AFL and the Miami Heat in the NBA.
