After an extremely profitable day on Monday, we are looking to back it up with another winning slate of racing tips. We give our tips for every race at Warwick Farm and Sandown for this Wednesday, the 28th of June below.
WARWICK FARM RACING TIPS
R1 - Noviero
R2 - Tivoli Street
R3 - No Interest / Little Miss Brown EW
R4 - Mate Story EW
R5 - Roman Son (Best Bet)
R6 - Calypso Bay
R7 - Cosmic Engine / Caesar Augustus EW
Best Bet: Race 5 Roman Son
Has won both races this preparation over 1400m and then over 1850m last start on a Soft track. His latest win was very comfortable and suggests the step up in trip won't be an issue. Gets a gun run and a top jockey, looks very hard to beat in this field.
Best Value: Race 4 Mate Story
If you put a line through his last run on the Heavy 10 his form looks pretty good for this. Won his maiden comfortably on a Soft track over 1500m and then stepped up to midweek company at this track when only beaten 1 length behind Pelorus Jack. A repeat would see him go close here at double figures.
SANDOWN RACING TIPS
R1 - Holy Blade
R2 - Aljawzaa
R3 - Booradley
R4 - Alma's Rossa / Nicodame EW
R5 - Yogi / Alrouz EW
R6 - Diapason (Best Bet)
R7 - Removal
R8 - Kellstorm (Best Value)
Best Bet: Race 6 Diapason
I like this Chris Waller trained mare and as we saw on the weekend, Waller's Melbourne runners are starting to hit their straps. This filly settled a long way back last start but charged home to just miss by a nose. Down in weight today and with the good draw she can settle closer. The horse that finished 3rd in the same race as her came out and won its next start and also lines up here, but Diapason also gets a weight swing in her advantage on that horse (Whirlpool). $2.70 is a nice enough price.
Best Value: Race 8 Kellstorm
Very open race but this horse put in a big run last start after the leaders had a picnic in front. Up to 2400m suits and with the big field expect a bit more tempo. Should get a good run from barrier 8 and will have plenty of time to wind up. $7.50 available.
