SANDOWN RACING TIPS
RACE 3
Interested in Radiant Warrior here, who comes into today's race third up from a spell after two runner-up finishes so far this prep. He settled back in the field in both of those races and ran home strongly to be beaten less than a length on each occasion. Damien Oliver takes over today after the horse was ridden by Daniel Stackhouse and Lachie King in his past two starts, and despite drawing wide he should get his chance on the big track. He's won third up previously and looks ready to win again. Happy to back him each way at $6.50.
RACE 6
Three I'll be backing here. Begood Toya Mother has improved out of sight this prep, with two wins from two starts at Warrnambool and Cranbourne. Went forward last start after settling back in the field first up, so that showed he has versatility which is a positive. Happy to butter up again today at $3.80. Master Of Wine is a European import on debut in Australia for Team Hawkes. His sole win was first up last prep over 1700m in the UK so 1400m first up might be a touch sharp for him, but he's still very lightly raced and finds a winnable race. Trogir might just need one more run but he typically improves with his first up run under the belt. He can go well at double figure odds.

RACE 7
2400m races aren't typically my thing, but I'll back the two horses that placed behind Future Score last start - El Don and Fanciful Toff. There was only a nose separating them on that occasiona nd both of them drop from 60kg to 56kg today. They've both had the 2400m run leading into this which is a big plus. I'll be hoping El Don gets the nose in front as I think he has a bit more to come this prep. He's only had the one run over 2400m this prep and this is his second, so he should be at peak fitness now, whereas Fanciful Toff has had an additional two runs this prep. Will be backing El Don at $4.60 and saving on Fanciful Toff at $2.60.

KENSINGTON RACING TIPS
RACE 6
Interested in Waruna each way here at $8.00. She finished midfield first up in the Provincial Championships Qualifier at Wyong but she will be much better with that run under the belt and she'll also improve out of sight back onto firm ground. She's undefeated second up from a spell and has four wins and two placings from eight starts on good tracks. Drawn a touch awkwardly but she finds a very winnable race and she won by near on 2L last time she raced here. Alert By Sea is $151 but might actually run a cheeky race here. She's been well beaten in her first two runs back from a spell this time in, but she always improves third up. Her record when third up is five starts for two wins and a 2nd. She also goes terribly on wet ground, so back onto good ground will be much better for her. SHe's a blowout chance and I'll have something tiny on at the huge odds.
RACE 7
Magicalease is a $13 chance here and could run a cheeky race from the inside gate. He's had two starts this prep and comes into this third up. He was only beaten a length at this track last start and didn't really get tested the last 50m. He's had two previous starts when third up and those resulted in a win and a 2nd, so he looks primed to peak today. Carries a big weight but gets a jockey upgrade today with Josh Parr taking the ride fresh off a Group 1 win on the weekend. There's abslutely no speed in the race and Magicalease has led before so from the inside gate he could be further forward today.
