Mildura & Taree Racing Tips for Monday, July 3rd

We are back with another round of Monday racing tips after a big weekend of racing. Today we preview the eight race cards at both Mildura and Taree and give our best bet and best value for both below. 

MILDURA RACING TIPS

R1 - Mamzelle Murdoch
R2 - Black Mosheen / Banri De Hero EW
R3 - Good Luck Chuck
R4 - Lord Flynn / The Cougaress EW (Best Value)
R5 - Marin County
R6 - Flying Spark EW
R7 - Scatter Blast EW
R8 - Attack The Line (Best Bet)

Best Bet: Race 8 Attack The Line

There's a couple of shorties early on but Attack The Line is a bit better priced. In great form this prep and recorded an easy victory last start. Meets the 2nd horse again here but is actually better off at the weights so despite the rise in weight he should get a good run from barrier and prove tough to beat. $2.35 available.

Best Value: Race 4 The Cougaress EW

Expecting Weir's horses to go well in this but The Cougaress looks the value after a solid first up run over 1200m when beaten by 2L. Step up to 1400m suits, gets a good run and can go close at $11.

R4 - Bold Chance
R5 - Longchamp Lass / Dayarma EW
R6 - Gracela EW
R7 - What A Sister
R8 - Guided

Best Bet: Race 7 What A Sister

Bolted in to win her maiden at Cessnock last start on a Heavy track and meets a relatively weak Class 1 field here so can go on with it. Up in weight and down in distance is a query, but gets a good run and her wet track form is good.

Best Value: Race 6 Gracela

First two runs this prep don't look great on paper but she improved sharply at her third run last prep which was over this track and distance. Carries just 53kg so could figure in an average race at $10.
