Randwick Racing Tips: Saturday, April 11th 2026
Race 1: HKJC World Pool Fernhill Mile 1600m - 11:45am (AEST)
(1) Hydrobomb: 2YO Colt who has been handy with his three runs. First up narrowly denied and then was sound enough at Group 2 Level finishing 3.5L off the winner. Third up run in open class he got the chocolates by nearly a length after launching late. Looks to be hard fit now and enjoys the soft track, so expect another flash finish.
(11) Universe: 2YO Colt who had no luck first up over 1100m and then hit the line nicely last start which shows he may relish the rise to 1600m now. J-Mac in the saddle will only boost confidence. Drawn well and looks a nice value pick.
BET: NO BET
Race 2: Bisley Workwear South Pacific Classic - 12:20pm (AEST)
(2) Within The Law: 3YO Filly who returned soundly at Rosehill in group 3 company only finishing 1.5L off the winner there. Will be stripping fitter now and is 1 from 2 when second up. The rise in trip should also suit her second up. Chance.
(4) Regal Award: Dominant last campaign and resumed last start where he was caught wide throughout. 1 from 1 second up and will only be improving. Goes well.
(11) Autumn King: 3YO Colt who looks like he may be a very talented type. Only narrowly beaten in his first 2 starts last prep and has returned superbly this time in winning by 1.5L first up over the 1000m and then 2L second up over 1200m. Comes to the city now being the toughest test but looks to be a very capable type. Worth thought at the price.
BET: NO BET
Race 3: TAB Percy Sykes Stakes- 12:55pm (AEST)
(2) Santano Glow: 2YO filly who is unbeaten from her two starts and was very good on the heavy down the Flemington straight last winning by 3L. Draws well and gets Zac Lloyd into the saddle. Goes well.
(9) Reachin’ Out: Debuted late March and was exceptional winning by 4L in open grade at $10. Looks a talented type and handled the conditions nicely when scoring. Will take catching.
BET: NO BET
Race 4: Provincial-Midway Championship Final 1400m - 1:30pm (AEST)
(1) Lord Of Biscay: 6YO gelding who has returned in good order. Third first up and then won nicely last start. Ran well in this race last year being beaten by Matcha Latte. Meets him again but gets a better draw and gets the booking of J-Mac. Big chance.
(5) Matcha Latte: 6YO Gelding who is set to retain the title and go back-to-back in this race and his form has been very good suggesting he is more than capable of doing so. Draws a sticky gate but has been racing well and deserves to be favourite. Goes well.
BET: NO BET
Race 5: Asahi Super Dry Australian Oaks 2400m - 2:05pm (AEST)
(1) Ohope Wins: We were with this 3YO filly last start, and she didn’t explode like she had been prior in NZ. I like the return to 2400m now and she genuinely looks like a very talented type. Happy to stick with.
(2) After Summer: 3YO filly who was bold at big odds last start in the Vinery. Draws a nice alley here and if she shows a similar effort to the Vinery she must be considered. Each way?
(1) Ohope Wins
$2.50 (3.5 Units)
Race 6: Arrowfield 3YO Sprint 1200m– 2:40pm (AEST)
(3) Grafterburners: 3YO colt who has an impressive CV and was well supported when expected to resume in the Galaxy but had an incident at the gates and was a late scratching. Gets another chance here and draws kindly. Handles the conditions and will be hard to beat if at his best.
(8) Marhoona: 3YO Filly who has been terrific in her last two. Narrowly denied in Group 2 company 2 back and then knuckled down to win the Group 1 Galaxy last start. Gets back to own age now and will be around the mark at a big price.
(9) Tempted: 3YO Filly who is a very talented type and deserves to be quoted $1.75. Loves this trip and is unbeaten on the rain effected going, so has everything in her favour. The one they all have to beat.
(3) Grafterburners E/W
$6.50/$2.00 (1U/3U)
Race 7: Schweppes Sydney Cup 3200m – 3:15pm (AEST)
(2) Campaldino: 5YO gelding who was good second up and then was well supported in the Manion but failed to fire. Bounced back last start when getting out to 2600m. Looks ready to peak now being out to 3200m and dropping in weight to do so. Chance.
(5) Whiskey On The Hill: 6YO gelding who won very well over 2600m last start in the wet conditions and looks ready to tackle 3200m now. Drops in weight and if the track remains SOFT or worsens, he looks a genuine top hope. Roughie of the field and wouldn’t be surprised if he won.
(14) Litzdeel: 4YO Mare who has been very honest and hasn’t been missing by far. Genuine stayer and with only 51kg on her back, id expect her to be giving this a shake. Value.
(14) Litzdeel E/W
$9.50/$3.00 (1U/2U)
Race 8: Moet & Chandon Queen Of The Turf Stakes 1600m – 3:55pm (AEST)
(2) Lady Shenandoah: 4YO Mare who is a very talented type but has run into some tough opponents. (Autumn Glow / Joliestar) Reunites with James McDonald now who has had previous success, draws well and is rock hard fit being fourth up. Mile suits.
(5) She’s A Hustler: 5YO Mare who may have been overlooked here as we are seeing big odds. Her recent form has been outstanding. She has trialled twice leading into this return run and looked good. Flies first up with a record of 4:3-1 and is unbeaten on the soft track. Draws well and will be a big sniff at the price.
(8) Idle Flyer: 4YO Mare who was well backed last start and got the job done nicely. Impressive watch. Draws well here, handles the wet and Zac Lloyd remains in the saddle who is 6 from 7 when on top. Major player.
Also Backing: (5) She’s A Hustler $21 (0.5 Units)
(8) Idle Flyer
$6.00 (1 Unit)
Race 9: Queen Elizabeth Stakes 2000m– 4:35pm (AEST)
(7) Autumn Glow: Unbeaten 4YO Mare who is 11/11. Continues to win and do so in style. Will need a few things to go wrong if she is to be beaten.
(8) Aeliana: 4YO Mare who would be 4 from 4 this prep if she didn’t run into Autumn Glow in her first and second up run. She did give Autumn Glow a scare second up only going down by half a length with gaps to third. Next two wins have been good. The soft track conditions will continue to suit and the drop back to 2000m shouldn’t be too much of an issue. Will need to go one better now though to knock the fav off.
BET: NO BET
Race 10: Tresemme Sapphire Stakes 1200m – 5:10pm (AEST)
(3) Gangsta Granny: Dominant on return and then only narrowly beaten last start when having to overcome the widest draw. Draws a sticky gate again, but gets in lighter and if she pings again and get into a nice spot, she will be hard to beat. On top.
(6) Flying For Fun: 4YO Mare we tipped last start and she was plonked in the market and didn’t disappoint. Won well. Second up now and will only be stripping fitter. Soft track looks to be the only query. Consider.
(3) Gangsta Granny
$2.50 (3.5 Units)
