Blue Diamond Stakes Day has arrived for punters at Caulfield with three GROUP 1 races on the program. The two year olds battle it out over the 1200m distance, while the sprinters race over 1100m in the Oakleigh Plate. Not to be forgotten is the Futurity Stakes which sees Treasurethemoment go around a $1.90 favourite.
The Blue Diamond is always a tough race to bet on so I have gone Each-Way on a horse which is the stablemate and current second favourite behind $4.80 chance Big Sky.
The track is predicted to be a Good 4 and 28 degrees is forecast.
My three best bets of the day and Quaddie tips are below with race one commencing at 12:15pm (AEDT)!

Race 2: Sportsbet Zedative Stakes 1200m - 12:45pm (AEDT)
(3) Pallaton was midfield when settling before finishing 4th at Caulfield on resumption from a spell. Interesting Jamie Melham has hopped off the favourite in preference of Rosberg who is my second tip so it will be interesting to see if thats the right choice. With more fitness on his side now, I think Pallaton can box seat and win. Has placed in Group company previously and is fitter this time.
(2) Rosberg won well on debut when followers were on and he defeated some very talented horses in that race. He is resuming here and may settle just in front of his main rival in Pallaton.
(5) Wise Inlaw is resuming after running 6th of 9 on Caulfield Cup Day behind Bacash over 1400m. Has jumped out well and my lead.

Race 8: Sportsbet Blue Diamond Stakes GROUP 1 1200m - 4:15pm (AEDT)
(5) Guest House is the tip despite being a beaten fav last start after running on well for 2nd at this track. Will be a lot fitter after that and the run prior he did storm home to score. He gets barrier 3 here which should see him position up nicely in the large field and I anticipate he may be around 8th in the run. He won his maiden at Cranbourne on December 27 and this has always been the target for the Mick Price&Michael Kent Jr stable.
(6) Eternal Warrior will likely go back from barrier 16 but that might be okay because he has the ability to run on well from the back like he did on debut at this track when very big odds.
(1) Unit Five comes over from the Gold Coast and is unbeaten in two runs. On January 17 he ran on well to score the win and before that he settled handy at this track to score. Tactics on this horse will be interesting.

(12) Stealth Of Night was a beaten fav last start but the Hayes/Williams/Stealth Of Night combination can turn that around on what is a big day for punters. She had barrier 1 last start here when 2nd behind Until Valhalla which paid huge odds. That was her first run after a five week lay off where she wouldn’t have done much and she might be a mare who just loves to run. She is 2 from 2 when second up and has always finished in first or second place on a Good track.
(6) Porter led but got tired over 1400m last stat but was still 4th only beaten 2L. He sticks with the 1400m in which he loves and he might try and lead all of the way in this one.
(7) Red Galaxy has been freshened for this and does usually go well when fresh. Ran a good 3rd at Geelong on January 3 and the $18.00 on offer looks over the odds. No problems over this distance.
