AFL Round 9 begins with a cracking contest out west between Fremantle and Hawthorn, with both teams trying to take a big scalp. We have another Friday night double-header this round with the 7:30pm AEDT and 8:10pm AEDT timeslots being utilised again. Also like last week, we have four matches on Saturday and another two on Sunday to close out the round. Geelong vs Collingwood on Saturday night looms as the clash as the round.

Bendigo Racing Club gets a rare chance to host Saturday racing this weekend with the Bendigo Guineas and the Golden Mile the features. Race one starts at 11:45am (AEST) with the last of the program concluding a touch after 4:55pm (AEST).
Hawkesbury hosts a 10-race card on Saturday with the Hawkesbury Guineas, Hawkesbury Crown, Hawkesbury Gold Cup and the Hawkesbury XXXX Gold Rush as the key feature races on the card.

Caulfield Heath will host an eight race program on Wednesday and with the warm dry weather continuing the track is predicted to be a Good4. The maidens start us off in race one with two equal favourites in that one, but our three best bets come up later on in the program.

Randwick hosts an 8-race card on Saturday with the BM100 First Australian Imperial Force handicap over 1500m in Race 7 as the key race. Shannon Buckley has done the form to bring you his best bets for day.
Flemington will host ANZAC DAY Saturday racing this week with a competitive eight race program on offer for punters. After a warm week the track will remain a Good4 and the first race starts at 1pm (AEST).
Morphettville hosts a nine-race program on Saturday as the Robert Sangster Stakes and Australasian Oaks will be run at Group 1 level. There is plenty of quality support races at Group level as South Australia showcases some of its best racing.

Geelong will host midweek thoroughbred racing this week in Victoria and gallopers will be provided a Good track for racing. WIth little to no rain around this week the tracks have dried out a little which will suit horses that like running on top of the ground.
