Round 8 in the 2026 AFL season is jam-packed with awesome matches, many of which are rivalry games. The round begins on Thursday night with a blockbuster at the MCG between the Magpies and the Hawks. Friday night footy sees two fixtures scheduled, with the Bulldogs vs Dockers followed by the Crows vs Power Showdown. There are four matches on Super Saturday with most of them expected to be one-sided, before the round comes to an end with a double-header on Sunday, headlined by the Suns vs Giants.
