Remember, that even though a team is favourite to win the flag, it doesn't necessarily make them a great bet. Their odds might be too short compared to the true likelihood of that outcome. The best way to profit on the AFL Premiership market is to find teams that offer good value odds. Perhaps a team is playing poorly compared to their true ability. If you can back them at good value odds, and they win a few games, then their odds will reduce and you're in a good position to build a green book.
