June 4th 2015, 11:44am, By: C.McGregor9

This Saturday TopBetta is hosting one of its biggest sports betting tournaments ever with their annual Stradbroke "Tournament of the Year" event.

TopBetta have guaranteed a massive $10,000 prize pool for an entry fee of just $550 to encourage amateur punters to be involved in the Tournament of the Year.

With 24 TopBetta members already registered for the tournament, the prize pool has already met its guarantee with the prizepool anticipated to balloon up above $20,000!

The tournament gives punters of all experience the opportunity to battle it out for a big payday. The structure of the tournament involves competitors being credited with $50,000 in tournament dollars. The participants will have the opportunity to bet on Stradbroke Day on either win or place (no exotics) on each race and attempt to turn their $50,000 into the highest amount possible.

Throughout the day a tournament leader board will be constantly updated and it will show the amount that each competitor has remaining, allowing people to determine what bets they will need to make.

The leader board allows the possibility for the event to be settled by the final race of the day as each player can calculate how much they need to earn to win.

In a recently added twist, TopBetta have announced that punters are allowed the option to rebuy once up until the start of Race 5. So expect some early gambling and if things go badly, punters boosting the prize pool with the option to rebuy.

TopBetta allows for teams to enter the Stradbrokes tournament. This gives the opportunity for mates to form a syndicate and the entry fee can be divided amongst the group. For example, 10 mates form a team together and the entire day will cost them $55 each.

The tournaments are always very exciting towards the end of the day as punters try to gamble to land a big score in the final races. It's a lot of fun regardless of the final results, however the top three finishers are guaranteed to receive a big cash prize. First will be credited with at least $6,000 or more!

To be a part of the Stradbroke Tournament of the Year, sign up with TopBetta today and you can even ‘satellite’ into the tournament for as little as $50.
