Melbourne Cup

The annual Melbourne Cup is renowned around Australia as 'the race that stops a nation'. Held on the first Tuesday in November every year, the Cup is the richest "two-mile" handicap in the world, and one of the richest turf races.

Cox Plate

The W.S. Cox Plate is a thoroughbred horse race for horses aged three years old and over, under weight-for-age conditions, over a distance of 2040 metres, held at Moonee Valley Racecourse, Melbourne, Australia in late October

Caulfield Cup

The Caulfield Cup is a Melbourne Racing Club Group 1 Thoroughbred horse race held under handicap conditions for horses aged three years old and older, over a distance of 2400 metres. It is held at Caulfield Racecourse, Melbourne, Australia in mid October

The Everest

The Everest is the world's richest race on turf and is run over 1200m under weight-for-age conditions at Royal Randwick in October.

All-Star Mile

The All-Star Mile is a new race created by Racing Victoria where horse racing fans can vote for their favourite horses to compete in a $5million race over 1600m at Flemington.

Queen Elizabeth Stakes

The Group 1 Queen Elizabeth Stakes is arguably the biggest race of the Sydney Autumn Carnival, run over 2000m at Royal Randwick Racecourse on Day 2 of The Championships.

Doncaster Mile

The Group 1 Doncaster Mile is one of the biggest races during the Australian Autumn racing carnival, staged at Royal Randwick on Day 1 of The Championships.

Golden Slipper Stakes

The Group 1 Golden Slipper Stakes is the world's richest two-year-old race, run over 1200m at Rosehill Gardens Racecourse during the Sydney Autumn Carnival.

Blue Diamond Stakes

The Group 1 Blue Diamond Stakes is Victoria’s premier two-year-old race, run under set-weight conditions over 1200m at Caulfield Racecourse each February.

Golden Rose

The Group 1 Golden Rose is one of the premier three-year-old feature races in Australia each year, run over 1400m at Rosehill Gardens under set-weights.
