South East Melbourne handled their Round 9 assignment with maturity, securing an eleven point win over the Taipans and again displaying their poise late in games. With a settled rotation, reliable defensive structure and the confidence that comes from beating most of the league, the Phoenix will see this match up as another opportunity to build momentum.
