Really disappointing 0/3 performance for us in our AFL Spread Bet Tips last week after going ¾ the week before. Hopefully we can get back to our winning ways at Pointsbet in our Round 20 Spread Betting Tips below.
If you’re still unsure of how spread betting works, you can check out our complete guide to spread betting before you create your own Pointsbet account and start winning cash - make sure you understand spread betting 100% before you start though, because things can get very swingy. AFL Round 20 Spread Betting Tips
Geelong and Sydney kick off Round 20 action at Simonds Friday night and the Cats will be without star midfielder Patrick Dangerfield for the clash after he was suspended. Should give plenty of opportunity to the likes of Joel Selwood and Mitch Duncan in particularly. Duncan averages 112 fantasy points per game on the season so far which should rise with Dangerfield being out. We like his over on fantasy points here.
TIP: Mitch Duncan OVER 108 fantasy points
Even though the Demons have been up and down lately, their loss to the Kangaroos on the weekend seemed to be pretty telling of their form. They come up against the Giants this weekend in Canberra which should be a tough task especially without Jesse Hogan. Only a 12-point line for the game with a few key players returning from injury, we think they should cover up in Canberra.
TIP: Greater Western Sydney -12 points
Carlton have been the lowest scoring team in the league throughout the season so far. They come up against Essendon this weekend who, while they do play a fairly free flowing style of footy, they only allow 13 goals per game to their opponents. If this game was at Etihad we might like the Blues to get close to their line here but on the bigger MCG we have them scoring under 11 goals.
TIP: Carlton UNDER 11 goals
St Kilda are absolutely desperate for a win this week. They need to win every game for the remainder of the season to have a chance at qualifying for finals and it starts this weekend against the Eagles. We saw the Saints take it right to the Eagles over in Perth back in Round 2 and they are a much improved side since then. Have the ability to come out firing in important games as we saw when they played Richmond a few weeks ago, we like them to cover here.
TIP: St Kilda -7 points
