AFL Round 13 Spread Betting Tips
While St Kilda have been one of the poorer teams in the league in terms of goal accuracy, their total scoring shots have been in the top 10. North Melbourne are also well in the top 10 for goals and total score. The roof should be closed at Etihad on Friday night so perfect football conditions should be on the cards. If they don’t hit the over here it shouldn’t be by much, while they easily have the potential to score 100-110 each. Or more.
TIP: North Melbourne vs St Kilda total points OVER 186
Sydney’s first score in seconds over their last seven games have been 96, 406, 141, 220, 53, 66, 45. With the exception of the 406 against the Hawks two weeks ago, they have managed to score early in the first quarter in every game. Their line for first score against Richmond on the weekend is at 301 seconds. We think they have the potential to go way under this.
TIP: Time of first Sydney score UNDER 301 seconds
Apart from last week when Essendon flew out to a six-goal lead against the Power, Port Adelaide had been great first quarter scorers in their previous three games. Their average first quarter lead over the Suns, Cats and Hawks in the three games was 23.3, all much better team than the Power’s Round 13 opponents, the Lions. We think Port Adelaide should get out to a strong lead at home on Saturday afternoon.
TIP: Port Adelaide vs Brisbane 1st quarter margin OVER 18
Carlton have been the lowest scoring team all year, their last seven games have yielded scores of just 47, 97, 79, 66, 51, 96 and 71. Gold Coast haven’t been the most heavily scoring team on the season so far either sitting at just tenth in terms of goals scored. The game between the two sides at Metricon on Sunday feels like an 80-70 score line, possibly less with a 60% chance of rain throughout the day. Back the under here.
TIP: Gold Coast vs Carlton total points UNDER 172
