(8) Skiesthelimit $3.70: Resuming 3YO Filly who has had early market support, but is yet to place from all 4 career runs. Comes into this off two trials, but prefer to watch here.

(3) Santasia $2.30: Looks the best bet of the day here. Hasn’t missed the exacta with all three career runs. Narrowly lost over this grade/trip last start as an evens favourite. Gets 1kg off her back from that run and J.COLLETT in the saddle now. Keen to be on again here.
(4) Spirit Of Varanasi $9.50: Roughie of the day who is back in grade now and can play a role at an each way price. Safely held last start.
(2) Reigning King $2.50: Resuming 3YO colt who hasn’t been that far away in all career starts. Gets a nice draw today and back to midweek company. Watch the market.

Race 7: Claredon Tavern BM64 1300m - 5:15pm (AEDT)
(3) The Hawkesbury $1.90: Omen bet here surely? Enormous on the heavy deck to debut with a 3.5L win. Returned with a narrow third place. Fitter now for the second up run and gets a nice draw with Nash RAWILLER in the saddle. Main hope.
(5) Starmae $6.00: Finally hit the winners list last start with a dominant win over this trip. Up in weight now, but can go on with it. Draws a sticky gate which is the only concern.
