Randwick Racing Tips: Saturday April 20th 2024
Race 5: Group 3 Tab Hall Mark Stakes - 1200m (13:50 AEST)
(7) Front Page is going to lead this race. He drops back from group 1 company last start where he was 3rd and should prove incredibly difficult to roll from the lead in this.
(4) Rocketing By is a smokey. He contested some huge races in the spring at huge prices. This is more his go and with some luck on the rail he can run a drum.
(3) Vilana is a proven gelding. There’s no reason he shouldn’t be right in the finish with a good run just behind Front Page.

Race 7: Group 1 Moet & Chandon Champagne Stakes - 1600m (15:00 AEST)
(7) Manaal is hard to fault here. She’s the only G1 winner after a strong finish over 1400m in the Sires’. 1600m should suit and the small field will do her favours.
(2) Linebacker is 2nd pick but not a confident one at that. Only narrowly beat Anode after getting run of the race last time which isn’t very convincing.
(4) Fearless may be a touch of overs but is hard to read with mixed form leading into this race.
(7) Manaal

Race 8: Group 1 Schweppes All Aged Stakes - 1400m (15:40 AEST)
(9) Espiona gets a chance for revenge in this race after being a good thing beat in the Galaxy when held up almost the entire straight.
(10) Sunshine In Paris was good in that same race and was good when 2nd prior. Shouldn’t be far away.
(8) Chain Of Lightning has now gone back to back and maps well enough to put in another good run here.
