NRL Daily Fantasy Tips 2025: Round 15 Friday

June 12th 2025, 12:07pm, By: Ben Bridge

NRL Fantasy Tips

Just the one clash on Friday night NRL this week, as State of Origin Game 2 looms next Wednesday, leaving seven teams are on the bye. The Friday contest will pit last placed Gold Coast Titans up against the Manly Sea Eagles, with Manly just outside the 8 on account of for and against. With the Titans missing two players and the Sea Eagles giving up none of their players to Origin duty, this could be another tough night for the home side.

Draftstars have several great contests on offer for Friday night including:

NRL $10,000 Titans vs Sea Eagles - $15 buy in

NRL $750 Titans vs Sea Eagles Mini - $2 buy in

State of Origin Game 2 Qualifiers

There are plenty of other contests that will tickle your fancy, so get involved and make the greatest game of all even more exciting. And if you're new to the Daily Fantasy scene, simply join Draftstars via this link!

NRL Daily Fantasy Lineup Tips: Round 15 Friday

NRL Round 15 Friday: Our Value Fantasy Picks

Tommy Talau ($8,000) is bottom dollar here, and this selection is down to two factors. The first, is I’m predicting the Sea Eagles are going to put a score on the Titans this week, meaning their wingers are likely to score points. Second, Talau has actually been solid in base stats on the wing for the Sea Eagles, getting through far more work than his wing partner Jason Saab. Whilst there is the concern that the Sea Eagles flop, I believe for the price and the likelihood of a Sea Eagle onslaught, their wingers are must haves at these prices.

Brian Kelly ($11,180) has looked back to his best over the past three weeks, averaging a very respectable 42.9 points per week with ZERO tries. If Kelly can jag a try here, he has the potential of scoring 60+ for a decent price. Whilst Kelly will be attacking the stronger left edge of the Sea Eagles, he knows his way over the line, and with only two tries to his name this season, he is well past due for a try.

NRL Round 15 Friday: Our Mid-Priced Fantasy Picks

Chris Randall ($12,020) has taken over the starting edge spot over the past month for the Titans, averaging a solid 44.5 points per game, whilst playing close to 80 minutes per game. Those 44.5 points per game are pure base stats, and with two forward leaders out for the Titans this week through Origin, Randall will be expected to play 80 minutes and get through plenty of work. Averaging a solid 39 tackles per game in his three weeks starting, it would be handy if he could do a bit more with the ball in his hands, averaging only 64.7 metres per game. If he can push that up towards 100, Randall should punch out 50+ here for a nice mid priced buy.

AJ Brimson ($12,690) starts again at fullback, and he really is only one of two players who can fully take this game over for the Titans, alongside Jayden Campbell. Brimson is a full $6,000 cheaper than Campbell, and looms as a potentially game changing selection in this Draftstars contest. Brimson actually has quite a solid floor for this price, but it’s his ceiling that is drawing me towards him. Whilst most mid-rangers are back rowers and decent outside backs who punch out 30-45 on a weekly basis, Brimson has that huge game in him. Brimson has four games over 45 this season, with a highest score of 64. Whilst he may struggle to hit those heights, he has it in him to punch out a 65, in a game where these types of scores will be tough to get.

NRL Round 15 Friday: Our Premium Fantasy Picks

Haumole Olakau’atu ($18,200) is one of three elite options in this game in my opinion, with the other two being Cherry-Evans and Jayden Campbell. Olakau’atu is my favourite of the lot, with his form being tremendous over the past fortnight. Whilst there is always the chance backrowers can have a down week, with the lack of options in this game, leaving Olakau’atu out here seems like a dangerous proposition. With three scores of 75+, the ceiling on the Manly backrower is one that can’t be matched by anyone in the forwards on this slate and can probably only be matched by Jayden Campbell. Given I love the Sea Eagles here, I’ll take the Sea Eagles’ big man to have another big game here and jag at least one try.

Daly Cherry-Evans ($17,620) was officially dropped from the Queensland State of Origin team, after being named Captain for game 1. If that doesn’t light a fire under the Manly halfback, nothing will. Whilst there is still some conjecture over the future of DCE, it won’t matter here, as he tears the Titans apart on Friday night. DCE has five scores of 60+ this season, despite it being a down year, and I see him punching out his best score of the year this week. The result of this game in Draftstars is very much going to come down to who plays DCE, and who plays Jayden Campbell. Whilst Campbell is a freak, I’ll take the halfback of the team I’m predicting will win by double digits.
