Race 1 – Arrowfield Kirkham Plate - 1000m

Race 1 | 12:10pm AEDT
Royal Randwick

(6) Royal Accord – 2YO Colt who cost $300k and has trialled superbly on two occasions leading into this debut run. Early money has come and looks the one to beat. Interesting watch.

Bet: No Bet

Race 2 – TAB Highway Hcp Class 3 – 1600m

Race 2 | 12:45pm AEDT
Royal Randwick

(2) Olympian – 4YO Gelding out of The Autumn Sun and was handy in his debut campaign and showed plenty of promise. Slightly disappointing last prep but return okay as favourite over 1300m in a BM68 at Newcastle. Fitter second up and will appreciate the rise in trip. 3kg claim engaged, will be in the placings.

(4) Bluish hue – 4YO Gelding who had been knocking on the door when finishing second three times in a row and then broke through over 1500m with Nash on board last start. Nash sticks and will be given every chance to go on with things. Draws a nice alley.

Bet: No Bet

Race 3 – MIDWAY BM72 – 1200m

Race 3 | 1:20pm AEDT
Royal Randwick

(12) Smoke N Darts – 4YO gelding who is yet to miss the quinella from all 5 career starts. Backed first up at odds and got the chocolates. Continues to race well and at the price is worth another each way play.

(7) Polymnia – 5YO Mare who is very honest but just finds it hard to win. Her first and second up runs have been good, and she looks primed now for this third up run. Third up record is sound, and her sole career win comes when third up. Maps fairly and gets a 3kg weight swing in her favour on UNLEESHING who beat her by half a length last start. Happy to have a play.

(14) Lawless Lucy – 4YO Mare who looks to be a promising type. Bolted in first up to win by nearly 4L. Jason Collett steers and will need a little luck from the draw but has been $7 into $4.50 in the early market. Genuine hope.

Bet: No Bet

Race 4 – Alm On-Premise Brian Crowley Stakes – 1200m – LISTED

Race 4 | 2:00pm AEDT
Royal Randwick

(1) Crescent King – 3YO Colt who looks to have returned superbly with two wins and the most recent being an easy watch. Chasing the Hatrick now and looks to be every chance. Watch the market.

(5) Ciarons Star – 3YO Filly who returned well running on gamely behind the handy Blue Door when taking rails run after being caught 4 back the fence. Fitter now second up, draws well and this looks easier. Will go close.

(6) Jacaranda – Roughie of the field who has been ticking over nicely. She is rock hard fit and gets every chance from the draw. Blow out hope.

Our Randwick Tip

Ciarons Star

$3.10 (2 units)

Race 5 – Myplates Callander-Presnell – 1600m - GROUP 3

Race 5 | 2:40pm AEDT
Royal Randwick

(2) Central Europe – 3YO Colt who finds an easier affair here after taking on Group 1 company last start. Still looks to be learning, but trusting the stable wont be far away with him getting is maiden win. Clearly talented, just needs the right run. Chance.

(4) Why So Hard – 3YO gelding who was good on debut before going for a spell and then was very good running 3rd at Group 2 company, only 1.6L off the very talented Satono Glow. One to watch.

Bet: No Bet

Race 6 –Asahi Super Dry Craven Plate- 1800m – GROUP 2

Race 6 | 3:20pm AEDT
Royal Randwick

(1) Lindermann – 7YO Gelding we were keen on last start at short odds and he certainly gave us a great sight, battling strongly throughout before being grabbed right on the line by ATTRITION in a photo finish. He stays in Group 2 company and gets back to 1800m, which looks a very suitable setup. Barrier 6 should allow him to roll forward and take control out in front on his own terms. He’s unbeaten in two starts at this track and trip, is rock-hard fit and has plenty going in his favour again. Looks the one to beat. Happy to stick.

(2) Tom Kitten – 6YO Gelding who was poor first and second up but bounced back to his best last start when finishing 3rd in the Epsom behind Gods Windows and Ceolwulf. Meets much easier company here and a smaller field. Gets his chance for sure.

Our Randwick Tip

Lindermann

$2.30 (4 units)

Race 7 – Moet & Chandon Spring Champion Stakes – 2000m – GROUP 1

Race 7 | 4:00pm AEDT
Royal Randwick

(8) Global Goal – 3YO Filly who we were keen on her last start in the Group 1 Flight Stakes and she delivered in spades, producing a terrific finish to snatch victory right on the line. Her lead-up runs over 1200m and 1400m had her building nicely towards the mile, and she now looks ready to take the next step up in distance. She’s thriving this campaign, draws well and Dylan Gibbons stays aboard. She should get another economical run into the race before letting down with her impressive turn of foot late. She’s hard to knock on current form and I’m happy to stick with her.

(9) Prosima Dea – 3YO Filly who is hard to knock when she is unbeaten from four career starts and shows plenty of grit in doing so. Knows how to win and is very gritty. This is her toughest test to date, but gets in light and Zac Lloyd retains the ride. Chance

Our Randwick Tip

Global Goal

$2.80 (3 units)

Race 8 – The Invitation – 1400m – GROUP 2

Race 8 | 4:45pm AEDT
Royal Randwick

(1) Lazzura – 5YO Mare who rates highly for this and if she drew a better gate would probably be one of the best bets on the program. Narrowly beaten fresh before winning comfortably over 1400m last start. Remains at the same trip and grade. If she can overcome the wide draw, she looks every chance to go back-to-back. Goes well.

(8) Tuileries – 5YO Mare who mixed her form last prep but has matched it with some talented types. First up run can be forgiven when she was caught back and wide. Closed well which was encouraging. Fitter now second up and looks a nice roughie play.

(9) Gerringong – 5YO Mare who was very good first up when overcoming a wide run. Looks to have returned in good order and will be hard to dismiss. $6.50 into $4.00 is encouraging. Chance.

Our Randwick Tip

Lazzura

$3.10 (2.5 units)

Race 9 – Five Diamonds Prelude – 1500m – LISTED

Race 9 | 5:30pm AEDT
Royal Randwick

(1) Linebacker – 5YO gelding who continues to chase well and run some slick late sectionals but just struggles to win. Rises in trip now and should be ready to peak third up. Zac Lloyd sticks and with the handy barrier he gets his chance today. Goes well.

(2) Evaporate – 5YO Gelding who has mixed his form a little bit this time in, but looks to find a slightly easier affair here, draws well and maps to get a good run. If he can produce what he did at Sandown over 1500m he looks hard to beat.

Our Randwick Tip

Evaporate

$4.20 (1.5 units)

Race 10 – Robrick Lodge Filante Hcp Club – 1600m

Race 10 | 6:05pm AEDT
Royal Randwick

(1) Estadio Mestalla – 8YO Gelding who has been brave in defeat in his last two running behind SKYHOOK and then FORMAL DISPLAY. Right back in grade now which is why he is favourite for this. Drawn to get every chance and out to the mile looks to be his ideal distance for this fourth up run.

(6) Encap – 6YO Gelding who has been struggling at top grade of late, so finding himself back in grade looks to give him every chance. Weighted with only 54kg which is half a kilo heavier than his Group 2 runs. Proven fourth up and Gibbons rides who has placed on both occasions when in the saddle. Value.

(9) Anthracite – 6YO Gelding who is proven talent and continues to run a good race. Drops back in trip now which is the only query, but talented enough to go on with it. Major player.

Our Randwick Tip

Also Backing: Encap $14 (1 unit)

Estadio Mestalla

$2.80 (2 units)
