She looks to map well in the race, somewhere in the first four, and should prove hard to beat as she works through the grades. It's A Yes, who beat her first-up, was seen earlier this month winning a Benchmark 70 Handicap.

(14) Mr Natural should appreciate the 55.5kg after winning his maiden at Geelong over 1247m. Turning for home, he was the widest runner and sprouted wings late to grab Perfect Dismount who looked to have the race in the bag with about 200m left to run. He looks a good price, so happy to back him too.

(7) Let It Beel will jump from a wide gate which won't make it an easy task but he is racing well with a win and two minor placings from three runs this prep.

(11) Litzdeel continues to race well, finishing second at Flemington in the Group 3 Bart Cummings won by Mr Monaco. The five-year-old mare gapped the rest as she finished 1.25 lengths behind the winner. She also has form around Saint George three runs back and he has since finished second in the Caulfield Cup. From the inside gate, Jamie Melham should be prominent, potentially stalking The Euphrates. With just 54kg, the mare looks to have strong claims.

(2) The Euphrates is the likely leader in the race and he captured the Kingston Town Stakes two runs ago. He then led and finished third in The Metropolitan. Third-up from a spell, he should be ready to produce a big run.

(8) Point Of Law is prepared by Ciaron Maher who is having a dominant spring. The four-year-old has only raced four times in his career, racing in the UK, and is a last start winner of the Bahrain Trophy at Newmarket. His class will take him a long way.

(7) Bourbonontherocks looks ready to break his maiden after a narrow defeat at Ascot last week. He is on the quick back-up and will have to do some early work from an outside gate in the field of 13 runners. As long as he doesn't get caught wide, he should prove hard to beat based on that Ascot second placing, which saw the top three gap the rest of the field by more than four lengths.

(6) Frosted Warrior was placed last start at Bunbury and it was an excellent effort after being held up at a crucial stage. He looked like he was going to finish down the track behind a wall of tiring horses but got clear and finished strongly in the last 100m. He looks a serious threat here.

(9) Latina Melody hasn't been too bad in recent efforts, finishing fifth and then fourth. Stepping up to 1400m from 1200m looks suitable and she has each-way claims in the race.

(4) Vampi Queen captured back-to-back victories in a maiden and then Class 3 Handicap last month. She then competed at Ascot where she finished 11th. It wasn't too bad of an effort and getting back to a Class 3 looks suitable. She should finish strongly in this field and could prove hard to beat.

(1) Neap Tide finished sixth at his latest start and gets William Pike back in the saddle. Pike steered the gelding to his only two career victories and that could prove the difference once again at nice odds.

(6) Uncle Gerard finished third at his most recent race, beaten 3.48 lengths. He has only won twice from 55 starts, but has been placed a further 17 times. I'd say he has place claims in the race if he doesn't get buried too far back.
