It's an all-Czech showdown on Centre Court, with 10th seed Karolina Muchova taking on 9th seed Linda Noskova. It adds a fun dynamic to the match, especially considering these two actually played doubles together at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Muchova has survived a brutal path to reach her second Grand Slam final. The 29-year-old had to knock off three major champions on the bounce. After taking care of Barbora Krejcikova and Naomi Osaka, she managed to outlast Coco Gauff in a wild semi-final, sneaking through a super tiebreak to win 6-2, 1-6, 7-6(10). She’s got a game built perfectly for grass – a wicked slice, great hands at the net, and plenty of tactical smarts.
On the flip side, 21-year-old Noskova is stepping up for her first-ever major final.
