AFL Daily Fantasy Tips 2026: Round 13 Saturday

June 5th 2026, 2:58pm, By: Heath Chick

AFL Fantasy Tips

It’s time for another Saturday slate of AFL action with three games to jump into on this extended King’s Birthday weekend for Round 13.

First up, we’re heading west where the Kangaroos have sold a home game to take on the giant-killing Dockers. It’s probably not a bad option for the Roos to try and upset the Dockers at an unfamiliar ground for both teams while pocketing some coin. We then jump across the country for the game of the day as the Q-Clash between the Suns and Lions is set to have some extra spice as both teams are desperate for the win. Finally, we rack up the frequent flyer miles as we head back to Perth where the Eagles are looking for back-to-back wins against the Power.

Draftstars are offering a number of different contests to suit your style, some of these include:

AFL $50,000+ Saturday at Draftstars
AFL $5,000+ Saturday High Roller ($150 Entry) at Draftstars
AFL $3,000+ Saturday Mini ($2 Entry) at Draftstars
AFL $2,000+ Saturday Micro (50c Entry) at Draftstars

Also this season the AFL Star is back for 2026 with a massive $1 million prize pool! Win your way into the Final by winning a Golden Ticket in a range of qualifiers running every weekend!

AFL Daily Fantasy Lineup Tips: Round 13 Saturday

AFL Fantasy Round 13 Saturday: Where to Attack?

While the Kangaroos are the biggest underdogs of the day, it doesn’t look a great match up from a fantasy perspective. The Roos have been pretty good at limiting fantasy points in most positions on the ground, and they are particularly tough in the ruck and in the opposition’s defensive half. Similarly, the Dockers are also very restrictive as you would expect from the best team in the league. They are particularly strong in the midfield, for both inside mids and outside wingers. It makes it a tricky game to target.

The Lions and Suns have a few more avenues to our fantasy goal. The Lions have been thrashed the last three weeks, so it’s no surprise to see their fantasy numbers inflated towards opposition forwards. Everywhere else on the ground, they remain tough to score against. The Suns have had an up and down season, but remain a good team to target for inside midfielders where they are in the top three worst in the league.

The best game to target from a fantasy perspective is probably the Eagles against the Power, however it is worth noting that there were only two fantasy tons when these two teams met earlier in the season. The Eagles are improving, but they still concede big numbers to opposition forwards. They’ve come back to the pack, but are still in the top three worst in the league in recent times. They also give up above average points in the midfield, and give up the most in the league to general defenders, so there’s plenty of Power players in play. The Power have been pretty solid in terms of fantasy points conceded and they are particularly tough towards wings and outside runners.

Game Script: Suns forwards, Lions midfielders, Power forwards/backs

AFL Fantasy Round 13 Saturday: Our Value Fantasy Picks

Jai Murray ($6,000) makes his debut for the Suns after being drafted in 2025 as the #18 pick. Murray’s form in the VFL has been pretty solid with fantasy scores of 95, 81, 98 and 101 this season through the midfield. If you’re looking for some salary relief then he could be a handy min-priced option.

Bruce Reville ($8,750) has been able to string together some consistent games this season without the dreaded sub vest to deal with. His form earlier in the season was pretty good with fantasy scores of 80, 78, 84, 72 and 97 littered throughout the year. While his form has tapered off over the last couple of weeks, there’s opportunity for Reville to step up in this game in a favourable match up against the Suns. He’s been spending a little more time in defence which hasn’t helped his scoring too much, but with Zayne Dorko and Keidean Coleman out injured in the backline, plus Hugh McCluggage missing from the midfield, there’s opportunity for Reville to step up and get more involved.

AFL Fantasy Round 13 Saturday: Our Mid-Priced Fantasy Picks

Logan Evans ($10,940) is one I’m looking at this week for the Power to take advantage of the favourable matchup for half-backs against the Eagles. With Kane Farrell out of the side with injury, there’s a massive hole for someone to step up and take a lot of the distribution duties from the Power back half. I think Evans is the one for that. His last four weeks have produced 88, 111, 57 and 81 for some decent scoring, so I think he’s capable of tonning up for us here. If you want to pivot then Darcy Byrne-Jones ($10,640) is also certainly in play for the same reasons after shifting back to defence earlier in the season, while Aliir Aliir ($9,140) has a different role but offers a nice price for a bounce back game.

Jarrod Berry ($11,180) is in play this week as we’re getting a good price on the Lions mids after their recent poor form. Berry can be excused as he was injured for over a month and returned last week with a modest 73. His ceiling is large as evident by the 132 he scored earlier in the year, and with Hugh McCluggage out, there’s some extra possessions available for him here. Berry typically floats on the wing, but is more than capable of playing a role in the middle, so it will be interesting to see if he gets that chance given the Lions recent efforts. We can also pivot to Josh Dunkley ($12,860) at around the same price point who is severely underpriced for someone of his ability.

AFL Fantasy Round 13 Saturday: Our Premium Fantasy Picks

Zac Bailey ($13,090) has been in the news this week as the $1.3 million man that the Crows are chasing and his form this season probably warrants that salary. Bailey has a season average of 89.1 with five tons and a peak of 127. He’s getting it done all over the ground, with roughly 25% CBAs for the season, while also hitting the scoreboard. When Hugh McCluggage was missing earlier in the season, the CBAs for Bailey were closer to 50%, so expect to see that jump again here which can only help his fantasy scoring, especially against a Suns side that leaks points to opposition midfielders.

Lachie Neale ($15,190) is our pick for a premium play this week as we stick with the theme of the Brisbane midfield being well priced, in a good matchup against the Suns, and with extra opportunity with Hugh McCluggage on the sidelines. The Suns don’t typically tag, so they’ll go head-to-head with Neale who should enjoy the luxury of running around without close attention. Neale has a 102.5 average this season, and while the form has been up and down at times, his good has been very good, with a huge 159 earlier this season against the Crows. We’d love to see another big ton here.
