Caulfield will host the Group 2 Zipping Classic on Saturday as the Spring Carnival really does come to a close this weekend. The race of the day comes up in race eight at 4:25pm (AEDT) and will be run over 2400m with She’s A Hustler the $2.80 favourite. The Group 3 Eclipse Stakes will back up the main race of the day in race seven with four other quality Listed races being run throughout the program. Rain is predicted on the day but the track should stay a Good4.

Caulfield Racing Tips: Saturday, November 29th 2025
Race 4: Quayclean Blue Sapphire Stakes 1200m - 2pm (AEDT)
(6) Caffettiera drops back in distance for this race and should be at peak fitness now after 2 runs in from a small break. On November 2 she won well at Mornington and then she settled handy at Cranbourne and was 2nd last week. On the quick back up she returns to the distance where she won at two starts ago. Craig WIlliams stays on and I think the filly will settle in 4th on the outside from the draw.
(5) Naifah has drawn the inside and may lead this field. She led last time down the straight at Flemington and got rolled late for 5th. WIll try to control the tempo.
(9) Motorsports was backed to win last start and did salute at Pakenham but that was on the Heavy. Hasn’t raced on a Good track yet but will be one of the best late.
(6) Caffetteria Each-Way
$5.50/$1.90 (1 unit)
Race 7: Henley Homes Eclipse Stakes Group 3 1800m - 3:45pm (AEDT)
(1) Kingswood ran on well on Melbourne Cup Day to score at Flemington over 1800m and he remains at the distance. John Allen stays on and despite the pair needing to carry three more kilograms, I think they can do it again. He is a winner having won 4 from 16 and if the rain does make the track Soft by race seven, he won’t mind that at all. Has won a Caulfield before and he has been set for this.
(5) Poison Chalice will settle a couple of pairs behind Kingswood but will be trying to chase him down late. Likes Caulfield and likes this distance but he might get too far back. Hasn’t won in more than a year.
(2) Casino Seventeen is another who hasn’t won in a long time but is very fit and this might be his last run this prep. Has drawn inside and he has raced well in stronger races than this. Big odds at 10-1.
(1) Kingswood Each-Way
$3.70/$1.45 (2U/3U)
Race 8: The Big Screen Company Zipping Classic Group 2 2400m - 4:25pm (AEDT)
(1) Light Infantry Man doesn’t usually race well at Caulfield but he has been running very well in Group 1 company and I think he can pull it off. He is having his first run over the 2400m but he is in the right stable of Cairon Maher and he wouldn’t race him over it if he couldn’t run it out. He hasn’t won or even placed this prep but he was only 3.5L behind Via Sistina in the Cox Plate when 5th and that gets him over the line here.
(14) She’s A Hustler has won 6 from 10 and she has never missed placing in her career. Has drawn well in 3 and she has beaten most of these before. First try over the distance but she runs very well with Jordan Childs on top.
(2) Kovalica runs well on Dry ground which he should get again. If the track is downgraded to Soft maybe let him go though. He ran a good race two starts back behind Lindermann at Randwick and if he can produce that effort again he can run in the top 3.
(1) Light Infantry Man Each-Way
$4.50/$1.70 (1U/2U)
