The feature matchup of AFL Round 13 comes our way this Friday night with a critical interstate clash between Adelaide and Brisbane at the Adelaide Oval. The reigning premiers are sitting nicely in second spot on the ladder as they gear up for their title defence. Meanwhile, the Crows have been one of the surprise packets of the season, slotted into third on the ladder, and have an opportunity at home to really lock themselve into premiership contention with a win against Brisbane.
As always, this is all about the daily fantasy and this massive Friday night game draws another massive $50,000 prize pool at Draftstars in their main contest, as well as qualifiers for the $1 million AFL Star contest. In addition, there are a variety of alternate contests:
AFL $50,000+ Crows vs Lions at Draftstars
AFL $5,000+ Crows vs Lions High Roller ($150 Entry) at Draftstars
AFL $3,000+ Crows vs Lions Mini ($2 Entry) at Draftstars

AFL Daily Fantasy Lineup Tips: Round 13 Adelaide vs Brisbane
AFL Crows vs Lions: Where to Attack?
This is going to be a real challenge to pick apart with two of the top three teams so far this season matching up against each other, with both sides stingy with conceding fantasy points. The Crows have been giving up the fewest points in the league to inside midfielders, the fewest points to general forwards and the second fewest points to key forwards. Their dominance through these areas of the ground has been incredibly impressive.
On the flip side they are giving up above average points to all defensive roles including attacking half backs, general defenders and designated kickers. This sets up for the perfect game stack strategy if you are expecting the Crows to win this one, noting that they are favourites.
The Lions have also been restricting teams across majority of positions apart from general defenders. This one will really come out to who you think will get on top in the contest.
Game Script – Adelaide midfielders and forwards, Brisbane defenders
AFL Crows vs Lions: Our Value Fantasy Picks
Noah Answerth ($8,850) will have plenty of opportunity across half back again this week with the Lions still carrying a few outs across these roles. Last week we saw that Answerth can take advantage of this with 89 fantasy points and we all saw his ceiling in the Grand Final last year. I will be stacking up the Lions backs given the scores the Crows have been conceding to that position and utilising this approach to target value plays in the Lions backline.
AFL Crows vs Lions: Our Mid-Priced Fantasy Picks
Alex Neal-Bullen ($10,580) is another tackler who should excel in the wet conditions. His scoring has remained consistent with previous years this season at around 70 points per game, but showed his upside last week with a 99 point outburst.
James Peatling ($12,530) has been locked into an inside midfield role, attending over 50% of the Crows' centre bounces over the last five rounds. This has resulted in four scores of 82+ and a high of 117, locking in a solid floor for his price. Even better, I love the predicted conditions for Peatling who should excel in the wet with his tackling. His season high of 117 fantasy points came from a game where he racked up 12 tackles.
AFL Crows vs Lions: Our Premium Fantasy Picks
Josh Dunkley ($15,070) is another who should stand out in the wet. He is the player that you want to see inside in the clinches and we can expect plenty of stoppages if the weather is as expected. He is likely to go to Jordan Dawson in the midfield but assuming this game is a high stoppage, contested game, Dunkley should be one of the top scorers in the game.
Dayne Zorko ($15,830) is the premium back I will be looking to in my Lions back line stacks. He is solid in wet conditions for a player who loves to rack up uncontested possessions as well. As noted above, the Crows are conceding above average fantasy points to all back positions and we will see Zorko do a little bit of everything in that area of the ground on this slate.

Weather for Friday June 6th 2025
Adelaide - Rain, 16 degrees.
There's potentially up to 25mm of rain in Adelaide on Friday and the bookies are expecting it to impact the scoring given the game total. Consider this as the game approaches and focus on inside players, rucks and those that love a tackle.
