Sandown Hillside will host Saturday Racing in Melbourne this weekend and it's not a bad card either. The weather looks fine and the track will remain Good. Action kicks off with Race 1 at 11:55am AEST.

Race 3: Ive Handicap - 1pm (AEST)
(9) Ahha Ahha has drawn well here in 2 and the filly was unlucky last start. She will get back in the run and Hillside looks a suitable track for her. Two starts about at Cranbourne she was closer and was 3rd when $1.40 fav so connections will need to work out her running pattern here. I think she will go back.
(8) Terilee has drawn poorly in 14 but she also had no luck last start. She will need luck in running again and if she doesn’t get caught wide she could give this a shake. She likes the distance and is fitter being third up. Logan Bates rides and gets a claim.
(12) Sephia won well at Warrnambool last start when favourite and coming from off the pace. First try on a Dry track though. A first and a second over this distance though. Comes over from the Bool and Childs rides.

Race 5: The Importer Handicap - 2:10pm (AEST)
(11) Changing Colours likes Good tracks and the Waller trained mare almost got there last start after settling handy. Before that she was defeated less than a length again after going back on that occasion. She gets her second try at the mile and you would think that she would benefit from that. She likes a bit of pace in the race and I think that she gets that here.
(13) Subrising is better on Soft tracks but can surprise at odds here on the Dry. She will be double figures in this and will be running on at the end.
(5) Until Valhalla has drawn well in this (2) and has good Brisbane form to be competitive in this. Has placed over this distance and Logan Bates knows this track.

Race 9: Sportsbet Same Race Multi Handicap - 4:35pm (AEST)
(7) Oh Too Good loves Good tracks and she gets his chance here. He stormed home last start and was beaten under a length and a bigger track here should suit. She has had three placings from three starts over this distance and she has never missed a placing on this surface. Barrier 10 is okay for this girl especially if she gets cover in the run.
(9) Mollynickers is another who gets back and she also got beaten less than a length last start. Gets a better barrier here in 4 compared to 10 last time which Kayla Cartwright would appreciate.
(8) Step Aside is a last start Randwick winner who likes Dry ground. Is fitter here and does go well when second up. Ben Melham takes the ride for the first time. Has seen this track before which should be a bonus.
