NFL Week 7 Monday Betting Tips

Week 7 is shaping up to be a pivotal turning point as teams look to solidify their identity heading toward the midway mark of the season. A loss here can start building doubt, while a win can springboard a run. These three games each carry hefty implications — from revenge narratives to divisional tussles and playoff-calibre matchups, so buckle in.

NFL Week 7 Monday Betting Tips

Philadelphia Eagles at Minnesota Vikings

4.00am (AEDT)

The Minnesota Vikings come into this game hosting the Philadelphia Eagles with a 3–2 record, fresh off their bye and looking to re-establish momentum at home. Carson Wentz will get the start for Minnesota with rookie J.J. McCarthy still sidelined, adding an interesting storyline of a veteran facing his former team. The Vikings’ defense has been stronger than expected, but their offense remains inconsistent, especially in red-zone execution. They will rely heavily on their running game to take pressure off Wentz and control the tempo.

The Philadelphia Eagles have hit a rough patch after a hot start. Back-to-back losses have raised questions about their offensive rhythm and defensive stamina. Jalen Hurts remains one of the league’s top dual-threat quarterbacks, but turnovers and miscommunication have crept in. The Eagles will look to reassert their physicality in the trenches, where they still hold a clear advantage over most opponents.

Prediction: The Eagles remain the more complete roster, and while Minnesota will make them earn it, Philadelphia’s line play and experience should win out. I like the Eagles to cover the spread in a close but controlled performance.

Eagles -2.5

$1.90 (1.5 Units)

Washington Commanders at Dallas Cowboys

7.25am (AEDT)

The Washington Commanders head to Dallas looking to rebound from a narrow, turnover-filled loss that dropped them back to .500. They’ve shown flashes of promise under center, but the absence of Terry McLaurin continues to hurt their offense. Washington’s defense has shown bursts of energy but too often breaks down late in drives. A divisional matchup like this demands discipline, something the Commanders have yet to consistently show.

Dallas sits at 2–3–1 and desperately needs a home win to stabilize their season. The Cowboys’ offense has been erratic, and the defense has taken hits, especially with Trevon Diggs sidelined. Still, CeeDee Lamb’s return adds a much-needed spark, and Micah Parsons continues to be a game-wrecker who can swing momentum on his own. Expect Dallas to lean into the returning Lamb and running mate George Pickens in a throw heavy offense.

Prediction: The Cowboys’ home-field advantage and offensive weapons should be enough to hold off Washington’s late push. Expect a tighter game than the line suggests, but Dallas covers the spread in a much-needed divisional win.

Cowboys -1.5

$1.90 (2 Units)

Atlanta Falcons at San Francisco 49ers

11.20am (AEDT)

Atlanta comes into Week 7 playing with confidence at 3–2, led by Bijan Robinson’s dynamic play and a defense that continues to overachieve. The Falcons have found success controlling possession and limiting turnovers, keeping their offense on the field and their defense fresh. Michael Penix Jr. has shown steady improvement, and if he continues to avoid mistakes, Atlanta can hang with anyone.

San Francisco, meanwhile, sits at 4–2 but is nursing a growing injury list. Brock Purdy is still working through minor issues, while George Kittle is set to return after missing time. The 49ers’ offense has lost some of its trademark rhythm without all of its pieces, and the defense has been forced to shoulder a heavier burden. Even so, their talent level remains elite, and playing at home gives them an edge.

Prediction: The 49ers should find a way to win, but Atlanta’s balance and physicality make them tough to put away. The Falcons cover the spread as underdogs in what could be a grind-it-out, low-scoring affair.

Under 46.5

$1.90 (3 Units)
