Match Prediction
The Aussies were too good in Game 3 and secured the win to take the series to 2-1 heading into Friday night’s clash. Batting first, the Aussies piled on a monster score of 4/208 lead by brilliant innings from Aaron Finch (69 off 44) and Glenn Maxwell (70 off 31). Josh Philippe also chipped in with 43 as the Australian batsman dominated the Kiwi bowlers from start to finish.
Martin Guptill continued his solid form for New Zealand, providing some resistance in the chase with 43 off just 28 balls, however, there was little help from his teammates as they were bowled out for 144 in just 17.1 overs. Spinner Ashton Agar was the catalyst for the Aussies, picking up the best bowling figures in history for Australia in a T20 international with 6/30 off his four overs.
Really like the value of the Kiwis to bounce back and wrap up the series here. They have been a much better side for the majority of the series and we don’t think they deserve to be dropped into underdog status after one sub-par performance. The form of Guptill is really promising at the moment and their seam bowling unit of Jamieson, Southee and Boult is incredibly tough to bet against.
New Zealand Prop
Guptill really seems to have the Australian new ball bowlers figured out so far in this series. He has plundered 140 runs at an average of 46.66 this series and has smashed 375 runs at Wellington, more than any other player in T20 internationals. Back him to clear his run line on Friday night.

Australia Prop Bet
Tough to find an Australia prop bet that I’m really keen on, but one for value that I do like is Adam Zampa to top the wicket-takers list for the Aussies. Spin played a big part in the first game in Wellington, with Ish Sodhi leading the wickets for New Zealand and Ashton Agar for the Aussies. Zampa is great value at $4.33 to be the standout bowler on what is clearly a spin friendly pitch on Friday night.
