Moonee Valley Racing Tips for Saturday November 26th

November 25th 2016, 1:25pm, By: tim_tips

We're back at Moonee Valley for racing in Melbourne on Saturday November 26th with a 9 race card! There looks to be a few very competitive races throughout the day (good luck if you're playing the quaddie!) but we've got betting tips for every race of the day, including our best bet and best value for the meeting.

The track is rated a Good 4 and despite there being a trickle of rain predicted, it won't affect the track much at all. The rail is in the True position which might see the leaders favoured.

Moonee Valley Racing Tips - Saturday November 26th

Race 1 - Summer Membership $99 Handicap 1600m

INVINCIBELLA does look awfully hard to beat here despite top weight. Her form behind Jennifer Lynn and Prompt Response is by far the best in this race and if she can be close enough coming around the turn she should prove too strong. The value could be the bottom weight TIFFANY'S LASS who gets in with just 51.5kg and gets a 3kg weight swing on Heavenly Descent. She draws barrier 1 and looks slightly over the odds at $14.

Tip: Invincibella

Race 2 - Whiteman Property Plate 1000m

These races are always very tough to assess with seven first-starters but it might be CAO CAO with race experience under his belt that proves hardest to beat. He ran very well on debut to finish 2nd behind Aspect at Flemington and from barrier 4 should get a very good run here. BANDIPUR will go forward from barrier 10 and if Craig Williams manages to find the rail he could be hard to run down with the rail in the True position.

Tip: Cao Cao

Race 3 - MSC Signs Handicap 1000m

ESTAMINET won pretty much an identical race last start and there's no reason she can't win again, but I expect her to race outside the leader and I expect LYUBA to tag her back in the run. With a 6kg weight swing I'll side with Darren Weir's filly to just get over the top late, but the concern is she may be looking for slightly more ground, whereas Estaminet is a 1000m horse.

Tip: Lyuba

Race 4 - Art Series Hotel Group Handicap 1200m

WISE HERO was backed on debut and absolutely bolted in to win by 4 lengths with a further 3 lengths back to 3rd. It was onyl a Moe maiden but the win had authority and he might just be pretty smart. Barrier 3 should see him lead with Damian Lane a strong jockey booking, and $4.20 is a reasonable price.

Tip: Wise Hero

Race 5 - Simpson Construction Handicap 1600m

BLACK SHEEP has plenty of weight to carry here but his win two starts ago over a decent horse was good and he was slaughtered last start to run 2nd by half a length. The senior jock takes over today so he should get every chance from barrier 7 and he's proved in his last two starts that he loves this track and distance.

Tip: Black Sheep

Race 6 - Ranvet Handicap 1600m

PAYROLL was very talented as a youngster and she looks like she might have come back better than ever after a 7 length win first up at Cranbourne with 61.5kgs! It was only a Class 1 though and barrier 13 means she won't get an easy run here. One horse that will get an easy run is MILES OF KRISHAN who should plant herself one out, one back from barrier 4. She put two wins together before running 5th in a strong race at Sandown last start in Group 3 company. I think she's flying and maps to win this so happy to take $5.50 on offer. The best value could be VANDANCER who comes off a good win first up at Geelong.

Tip: Miles Of Krishan

Race 7 - 1PRINT Handicap 2040m

Actually a decent race this one. The two I'll be playing here are HIGH CHURCH and BOOM TIME. High Church put the writing on the wall last start and looks ready to win 3rd up. Should get a nice enough run from barrier 1 and the step up in distance helps. Boom Time saluted in great style for us last start and there's no reason he can't do so once again. He looks to be flying this prep and still has upside. He's had two starts at this track last prep; the first he stormed home to finish 4th over 1600m and the second he was blocked the entire straight. He'll have a bit to do from barrier 11 but he's an exciting horse. Sticking with Boom Time but will be playing High Church too.

Tip: Boom Time

Race 8 - Montmorency FC Handicap 1000m

STELLAR COLLISION looks like the one to beat here first up for 7 months. He's undefeated at this track and distance and undefeated first up. With the claim he gets in with just 52kg and looks to get a good run from barrier 7. $3.70 is a reasonable price but I wouldn't want much shorter. The value in the race is BEAU RADA ($14) and ROCK 'N' GOLD ($9.50). Beau Rada is first up and has a terrific record at this track and distance with five first 2 finishes from 6 starts. He draws barrier 2 and should be competitive. Rock 'n' Gold has run well at all three starts this prep and has also never missed a place from 5 starts at the track. Barrier 1 is a slight concern but he did win from barrier 1 at this track only 3 starts ago.

Tip: Stellar Collision / Rock 'N' Gold EW

Race 9 - William Hill Handicap 1200m

Four that interest me here and I think it could be worth backing STAR FORTUNE again at the $8 mark. He always runs well at his first two starts back from a spell and first up he simply ran them off their feet at this track and distance. Draws barrier 4 so we should see similar tactics and I expect him to give a good sight. CHASE THE HORZION was a horrible drifter in the market at this track last start and then had no luck in the run. I don't think this track suits him much and barrier 10 means he'll need luck slotting in but he's probably the best horse in the race so could still win. CANA brings Sydney form after a strong win in similar grade at Rosehill. She maps to get a very soft run in midfield from barrier 7 and at $10 looks a bit of value. KING'S COMMAND is a great chance from barrier 1. This horse has never finished outside the top 2 first up and he should box seat from the inside barrier with just 54kg on his back.

Tip: Star Fortune EW

Best Bet: Race 5 Black Sheep

Flying and has performed very well at this track and distance in his last two starts. Goes up in weight but Rawiller takes over and looks very hard to beat here.

Best Value: Race 8 Rock 'N' Gold

Has run very well in his past three starts. Has a tremendous record at the track and with Damian Lane on from barrier 1 with 54kg he can give another good showing at $10.
