India vs Australia 3rd ODI Betting Tips
Australia
The Aussies didn’t embarrass themselves in the 2nd ODI, but they will surely see a lot of room for improvement, particularly in the bowling department. Mitch Starc and Pat Cummins, who have been so good at breaking through with the new ball in ODI cricket, were unable to do so in Rajkot, allowing the Indians to build two massive partnerships for the 1st and 2nd wicket.
If the Aussies want to be competitive in this game, the opening ball duo will need to be better and fortunately for them, the Indians will likely have a change at the top of the order. Both Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan have injury concerns coming into the match, so with one or potentially two new batsmen in the opening partnership, we think Starc/Cummins makes an early breakthrough here.

India
After a disappointing performance in the first ODI, India’s batting line-up came to play in Rajkot. They did what we are so accustomed to seeing from an Indian ODI side by smashing a big 300+ score led by stars Virat Kohli, Shikhar Dhawan and Lokesh Rahul. Their bowling unit was also much more solid. All five bowlers that were used took at least one wicket, as they restricted the Australians to just 304.
If there are a few new faces at the top of the order for India and Australia do take an early wicket as we suspect, a lot of the scoring responsibility will fall on Virat Kohli. Kohli is the No.1 ranked batsman in the world for a reason, he steps up when the pressure is on. He’ll want to end this series with a 100, expect him to do so.

Prediction
What a tough game to call. Almost tempted not to even tip a winner here as these two teams are so evenly matched. I’m giving the slight nod to India despite a few injury concerns. While Rohit Sharma looks unlikely to play, Dhawan is reported to be tracking nicely and although they’ll have to make do at the top of the order, they have plenty of star power in the middle to score 300+ on any given night. Back the Indians to secure the series.
