Gosford is set to host a seven-race card for Wednesday’s midweek meeting in New South Wales. It will be mostly Sunny on race day, and the track is currently a Soft 5, so watch and monitor if there is any change to a Good surface on the day. The first jumps at 1:50pm AEDT and there will be four Maiden races on the program, followed by a pair of Class 1 events, and concluding with Benchmark 64 Handicap.
Trent Orwin brings you his three best bets for the Wednesday program at Gosford below!

Gosford Racing Tips: Wednesday, February 11th 2026
Race 4: Taperell Rutledge Lawyers Maiden Plate 1200m – 3:35pm (AEDT)
(5) Maidoff is working towards a win following a runner up performance behind Bryant at Warwick Farm on January 26 over 1100m. The leading pair gapped the rest of the small field. Prepared by Clarry Conners, the three-year-old gelding has been placed in two of three starts, including a third over 1200m when racing second-up from a spell. Pimlico who ran second in that 1200m event last year, has since captured a maiden. Maidoff should be winning one soon and could land a box seat run in this race.
(11) Vision In A Dream is a three-year-old filly on debut for Peter Snowden and she has had four barrier trials in the last seven months to prepare for her first career run. Both recent trials at Warwick Farm and Randwick suggest she will be capable in this line up.
(3) Eynesbury finished third last start at Canterbury, beaten 1.17 lengths by Willingham. The three-year-old gelding would love to settle midfield and try to run them down in the straight.
(5) Maidoff WIN
$2.40 (2 Units)
Race 5: Viridian Advisory Class 1 Handicap 1600m – 4:10pm (AEDT)
(4) I Am Wild is one of two Ron Quinton runners in the race, the other being Fiery Lass, and the five-year-old mare was third in this grade over course and distance. She has had a month between runs and should be ready to go, especially if Andrew Adkins can settle in front of a few rivals. Looks a great each-way chance in this field.
(3) Hush Hush captured a Super Maiden over 1300m last start and tackles the mile at only her third career start. She is unproven at the trip but her dominant victory last start suggests she could be hard to hold out here.
(1) Castagnola carries the topweight of 60.5kg after winning his maiden at Randwick-Kensington. That was over 1400m and the mile looks like a natural progression for this Bjorn Baker-trained gelding. Looks to have plenty of upside and barrier four gives Joshua Parr plenty of options early.
(4) I Am Wild E/W
$8.00/$2.00 (1U/1.5U)
Race 6: Aubrey Brown Lawyers Class 1 Handicap 1200m – 4:45pm (AEDT)
(4) Harry’s Evidence was an excellent winner last start at Wyong, winning his maiden by just under two lengths as the $1.40 favourite. He has good early speed and jockey Andrew Adkins may have options – press forward and try to drop in for some cover or race outside the leader. He handles Good and Soft ground, so won’t be worried by the track conditions. Looks hardest to beat.
(1) Aligned loves a minor placing right now, finishing either second or third at his previous four starts. Three of those defeats have come by a quarter of a length or less, while the latest was a one-length defeat behind Embrace The Wind. The outside gate and 61kg are knocks but there’s no denying that Peter Snowden’s horse looks ready to win.
(10) Miss Fleetwood has a positive barrier to go forward and settle right on the speed at her return to racing. She hasn’t been placed in two tries when fresh but the latest trial at Randwick was good. She might be a little more forward this time around and has each-way claims.
(4) Harry’s Evidence WIN
$2.80 (2 Units)
