Draftstars Launch NBL Contests

The 2024-25 NBL season kicks off next week and, for the first time, Draftstars will be offering NBL daily fantasy contests which is sure to please basketball fans around the country.

The teaser video from Draftstars on social media indicates the format will be a typical salary of $100,000 and 7 players to choose for your lineup across three positions - Guards (3), Forwards (3) and Centres (1). There will also be single-slate captain contests where you pick 6 Flex players and then nominate a captain to receive 1.5x points.

How do you score points in fantasy basketball on Draftstars? Here’s how it works:

- Point Scored = 1 point
- Assist = 1.5 points
- Rebound = 1.25 points
- Turnover = -0.5 points
- Steal = 2 points
- Block = 2 points
- 3 Point Made Bonus = 0.5 point
- Double-Double = 1.5 points
- Triple-Double = 1.5 points

Usual Draftstars features such as Player Swap and Sub still apply to NBL contests.
