Cranbourne hosts Saturday Racing in the state of Victoria this weekend and despite playing second fiddle to the Boxing Day races, it's not a bad program to look at.
Race one starts at 12:20pm (AEDT) with the card featuring 10 races on the day. The track should remain Good with overcast conditions.
My three best tips of the day are below!

Cranbourne Racing Tips: Saturday, December 27th 2025
Race 3: Solo Energy Handicap 1200m - 1:25pm (AEDT)
(7) No Fooling is a consistent gelding who missed out last start at Werribee (5h) but he was beaten less than a length in what was a close finish. He drops weight after that and punters have backed him heavily his last two starts so will want a return here. He has a 1st and 3rd to his name from his two starts over this journey.
(3) Primal Spirit likes racing on Dry ground and he gets that again. The Reece Goodwin gelding led and scored last start at Lakeside and he may lead again from a good barrier in 3.
(8) El Tercero came from midfield to score at Moe last start and he sticks at the 1200m which is his favourite distance. Been up for a while but is very fit.
(7) No Fooling E/W
$8.00/$2.60 (0.5 Units)
Race 8: Gatorade Handicap 2025m - 4:25pm (AEDT)
(10) Wolfess was unlucky last start at Lakeside and probably should have won when runner up over 2100m. Before that effort she won at Caulfield Heath after settling up on pace and I expect her to settle up there again in about 4th position on the outside. She is fourth up from a spell and should be 100 percent fit now.
(4) Dictionary is a previous winner over this distance and has won with Teo Nugent on top. He will go back to near last but will be one of the best late. Does race well after a few runs in from a spell.
(11) Bon Fete won by a nose last start at Lakeside after drawing inside. Her Dry track form is good and she only has to carry 54kg.
(10) Wolfess E/W
$6.50/$2.20 (0.50 Units)
Race 10: Ladbrokes SRM Multis Handicap 1600m - 5:40pm (AEDT)
(5) Hiyaam Proud has drawn well in barrier 4 and may settle midfield this time after he ran on really well from near last at Pakenham last start. He has had six races over this distance for only two seconds but it looks like he is comfortable running over this journey, which he has done over his last four starts. If he doesn’t win here the stable might try a different approach. Ready to go one better after being runner up his past two. Logan Bates gets the ride for the first time.
(1) Opening Address has drawn inside and is a last start winner. When big odds last start at Caulfield he settled 2nd and then saluted over 1800m and the drop back to 1600m is okay because he has won over that distance too.
(8) Mixxit has won 4 from 12 starts on Good tracks and comes into play here. He will go forward from barrier 2 and Cranbourne is one of his favourite tracks.
(5) Hiyaam Proud E/W
