Atlanta Braves have taken the first two of a three game series against the St Louis Cardinals. It wasn't until the bottom of the 8th inning yesterday that the Braves were able to put runs on the scoreboard. They went on to steal the victory off the Cardinals 2-0.
In the final game at Turner Field the Cardinals have Shelby Miller at the mound. Miller has an impressive 10-6 win record and a great 2.77 ERA. The Braves call up Kris Medlen who gives up one run more than Miller per game and also has 4 less wins this season.
The Cardinals currently hold a 62-39 record and will be very keen to put up another win. After leaving runners in scoring position all day yesterday they will be pushing to make amends.
