Canterbury Park Racing Tips: Wednesday, November 19th 2025
Race 4: Ole Kirk @ Vinery Stud BM64 1200m - 4:10pm (AEDT)
(1) Master Of Disguise: 4YO Mare who has continued to improve this campaign with each run. Most recently she took on open class at Albury and was in front for the entirety and was only pipped late. She gets back in class now and with the 3kg claim engaged she looks to be nicely weighted. Draws a nice gate and has been spec’d in the early market. Terrific record over this trip and loves the dry track. Goes well.
(3) Tequila Bay: 4YO Mare who resumed nicely finishing second in BM64 grade over 1000m. She hit the line strongly and looks as though she will relish the rise to 1200m now second up. 2kg claim engaged keeping her at a nice weight. Sticky gate the only concern.
(8) Mother Goose: 4YO Mare who resumed nicely also and was sound in defeat. Strips fitter now and capable of another bold run.
(1) Master Of Disguise E/W
$7.50/$2.50 (1U/2U)
Race 5: Hellbent Yearlings BM64 1900m - 4:45pm (AEDT)
(4) Horizons: 4YO Mare who has been ticking along nicely this campaign and has notched up a win three runs back. Comes back from a midway at Randwick BM72 to this now and was far from disgraced there. Likely to lead again and this looks a touch easier.
(6) Placid Pearl: 4YO Mare who drops back in grade after tackling a BM78 on testing conditions most recently. Gets back on top of the ground now, draws well and will be hard fit third up. Major player.
(4) Horizons WIN
$4.80 (1 Unit)
Race 6: Hyland Race Colours BM68 1100m - 5:20pm (AEDT)
(2) Couples Retreat: 4YO Mare who has notched up two wins and third this campaign. She tackled this trip in BM78 company last start at Rosehill and was far from disgraced. Gets right back in grade now and with the 3kg claim she is only 1kg heavier then that run. Draws pole position this time and has to be considered. Fourth up and ready to bounce back.
(3) Crepe Myrtle: 4YO Mare who ran well first up and then was terrific last start in BM64 class winning by 1.3L. Tougher here but looks to be on the up. Zac Lloyd rides for Jo Pride. Major player.
(11) Swordplay: 3YO Filly who broke maiden last start winning by 4.8L at Newcastle. Rises in class now, but gets in lighter and draws a handy gate. Rachel King for Bjorn Baker is a dangerous combo and has to be considered off that dominant win.
(2) Couples Retreat E/W
$6.50/$2.20 (1U/2U)
