Group 1 racing continues in both Melbourne and Sydney this weekend and to make the day even better, Before You Bet are teaming up with the folks at Betfair Australia to run a FREE competition for the punters!
All you have to do is pick the winner of the Group 1 Sir Rupert Clarke Stakes (Race 7) at Caulfield this Saturday, September 21st and you will go into the draw to win some Betfair merchandise! There will be three separate prizes, including a Betfair hoodie, Betfair power bank and Betfair hats and socks.
To enter all you have to do is follow us on our social media channels – Facebook, Twitter or Instagram and post your selection in the competition thread! The competition threads will be pinned to the top of the respective socials, so don't worry about scrolling down to find them!
Once the race has been run and won and correct weight has been declared, all of those who select the correct winner of the race will go into the random draw. There will be three winners drawn and preference will be given to the winner drawn first. You could go with one of the favourites for the race and have less chance in the random draw against lots of winners, or choose one of the roughies and have less correct entries to go up against in the draw if it wins. The choice is yours!
We’re also going to allow you to enter up to a maximum three times – once for each social media platform. You can choose to post the same horse on each, and if you’re right, you’ll get three entries in the draw. Or you have the option to spread your wings and cover multiple horses to give you a greater chance of entering the draw! So post your choice on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to take advantage of the maximum three entries.
Entries will close when the starter releases the horses from the gates for Race 7 at Caulfield, which is set to jump at 4.15pm AEST on Saturday, September 21st.
