AFL Round 21’s feature matchup this Thursday night is a massive game that might as well be a finals matchup come early. The Western Bulldogs, who are currently sitting in 9th position and a win out of the top 8, will host the GWS Giants who are in 6th place and just percentage out of the top four. This should be a very exciting contest with both teams loving to transition the ball quickly which is well suited to Marvel Stadium.

AFL Fantasy Round 21 Bulldogs vs Giants: Where to Attack?
GWS Giants have been one of the toughest teams in the league to score against this season, especially for key forwards, inside midfielders and attacking half backs… so all the critical positions.
Western Bulldogs open some attractive areas on the other hand. They continue to get abused by key forwards, giving up the second most points in the league over the last 10 games at over 5 points per game over league average. In addition, they are also giving up above league average points to inside midfielders over this same period.
Game Script – GWS Giants key forwards and midfielders
AFL Fantasy Round 21 Bulldogs vs Giants: Our Value Fantasy Picks
Harry Rowston ($8,830) returns to the lineup this week and should continue to receive time on the wing and inside midfield with Josh Kelly out of the lineup. Rowston posted scores of 75 and 83 in early June while attending over 60% of the centre bounces, which would be a solid return. Alternatively, if you have a little more to spend look to Xavier O’Halloran ($10,160) who looks locked into the midfield right now at over 60% of their centre bounces and has posted scores of 79 and 107 from his last four games.
Ryan Angwin ($9,830) has been getting consistently involved across the half back line over the last five games in the season averaging 75 points per game, including two scores of 89 points and 90 points. This makes for a great return with a high floor and 10x upside on a single game slate.
AFL Fantasy Round 21 Bulldogs vs Giants: Our Mid Price Fantasy Picks
Aaron Cadman ($10,100) / Jesse Hogan ($10,140) are one of the most deadly two-man combos up forward in the league. Cadman is coming into his own in the second half of this season averaging just under 80 points over his last six games with two scores over 100 points. Meanwhile, Jesse Hogan has continued to show upside that can win you a big tournament.
As noted above this is one of the best matchups in the league for key forwards so you can either go with one of the two or stack them both together.
AFL Fantasy Round 21 Bulldogs vs Giants: Our Premium Fantasy Picks
Tim English ($16,090) has had one game under 100 points from his last eight matches. This week he draws one of the best matchups in the league against GWS who are giving up over 10 points per game above league average and pretty much tied for the most in the AFL. Earlier in the year he put up 124 points on the Giants and this week his ceiling scores of 140-160 are in play.
Tom Green ($14,910) has been up and down with his fantasy scoring but his price is set nicely at under $15k in this matchup. As noted above, the Western Bulldogs are giving up above average points to inside midfielders and Green should take advantage of that on a slate where picking out premium mids will be challenge.
