2019 Cricket World Cup Australia vs Sri Lanka Betting Tips
Australia
The Aussies moved to 3-1 in the round robin stage on Wednesday night with a good win over Pakistan in Taunton. After losing the toss and being sent in to bat, the Australians posted a respectable total of 307 as David Warner blasted 107 off just 111 balls.
The total looked like it would be much higher mid-way through the Aussie innings after skipper Aaron Finch and Warner put on 146 for the first wicket. The Aussies lost their last eight wickets for just over 80 runs, however, the total proved to be enough with a strong bowling performance.
Pat Cummins led the way with a brilliant 3/33 off his 10 overs while Mitch Starc and Kane Richardson each picked up two wickets. The lack of a front-line spinner seemed not to bother Finch, as himself and Glenn Maxwell bowled 9 overs of part time spin between them.

Sri Lanka
Rain has played havoc with the Sri Lankan World cup campaign so far. They went down to New Zealand in their first game after batting first and making just 136 runs. They bounced back in their second game, claiming a comfortable win over Afghanistan.
Since then, they have had two winnable games against Pakistan and Bangladesh abandoned without a ball being bowled. It leaves them in a really tough position with just one win to their name and games against Australia, England, West Indies, South Africa and India to come.
Sri Lanka’s batting has been a massive issue in the two games that haven’t been washed out. They were rolled for just 136 in the first game against New Zealand and although they won against Afghanistan in game two, it was due to a brilliant bowling performance after batting first and making just 201. Kusul Perera has been the standout batsman for the Sri Lankans in the tournament so far with 107 runs at 53.50.
Prediction
Australia’s bowling performance was fantastic against Pakistan on Wesdnesday ngiht. If they bring that same intensity, especially the pacemen, it’s tough to see Sri Lanka putting a big score on the board.
Not much value in the Aussies on Saturday night but we can’t see Sri Lanka giving them any trouble with their batting form at the moment. Build a multi around Australia to win.
