There’s a huge 10 game slate in the NBA this Tuesday, the 4th of February, headlined by the 76ers at Heat Eastern Conference matchup, followed by the Spurs at Clippers game.
We have a full preview and betting tips for some of the key matchups in the Tuesday slate below.
NBA Betting Tips Tuesday 4th February
Golden State Warriors @ Washington Wizards
11:10am AEDT
The Warriors were surprise winners in their most recent game against the Cavs. Their 19 point victory put an end to a five game losing streak and a 10 game road losing streak. The Warriors are now 4-22 in road games this season and now have the clear worst overall record in the league on the back of the Hawks finding some recent wins.
The Wizards were also winners in their most recent game, defeating the Nets at home by six points. Interestingly, that win was the Wizards third in a row at home and the sixth from their last seven home games. Despite a very limited roster and a bunch of injuries, the Wizards have been able to remain in the hunt for the eighth seed in the East.
The Warriors may be coming off a win, but they haven’t shown much, if any, game to game consistency this season. On the other hand, the Wizards are nearly always competitive and are hunting wins at the moment. We expect them to get another one here to continue their strong home form.

Philadelphia 76ers @ Miami Heat

The Sixers have been a bit of an interesting dynamic this season and you can never be quite sure what you’re going to get for them. They were really disappointing last time out against the Celtics and just continue to dish up poor performances on the road. They’re 9-17 on the road, which is baffling considering how dominant they’ve been at home (22-2).
The Heat have been arguably the biggest surprise packet this season and for all the right reasons. No one was quite sure what to expect from them this season, however, they’ve been consistent performers from day one and come into this having won six of their past nine games, which takes them to 33-15 on the season.
The home court advantage looks to be the key here for the Heat. Like the Sixers, the Heat have been extremely dominant on their home floor but have struggled on the road. We see no reason why that trend won’t continue on Tuesday.
San Antonio Spurs @ Los Angeles Clippers
2:40pm AEDT
The Spurs haven’t been as good as we probably expected them to be this season, although they have shown glimpses of improvement in recent weeks. They’re coming off back to back wins against the Jazz and the Hornets and have now won five of their past eight games. Luckily for them, they’re still a big chance to sneak into the eighth seed in the West if they can have a good second half of the season.
The Clippers come into this off a win against the Timberwolves, which was a necessary way to bounce back from their very disappointing 21 point loss to the Kings in their game prior. The Clippers haven’t quite been able to go on some of the big winning runs like some of the other contenders, although the constant line-up adjustments was always going to make it tough to build momentum.
The Clippers are clearly the better of these two clubs; however, the 10 point spread is just too big for our liking. The Spurs have been more than competitive of late and if the Clippers aren’t at their best, then we can see a potential upset on the cards here.
