Bundesliga Week 3
Bundesliga vs FSV Mainz 05 (Saturday 11.30pm AEST)
Bundesliga got on the board in the 2019-20 season with a dominant 3-0 win away from home against FC Schalke. They were sluggish to start the season when they faced off against Hertha BSC and could muster just a 2-2 draw. Star striker Lewandowski was dominant in the win over Schalke, racking up a hat-trick as Bayern maintained 66% possession.
FSV Mainz 05 have started the season in horrid form, losing their first two games of the year. They were defeated 3-0 by SC Freiburg in week one before going down to Borussia Monchengladback at home in week two. They have scored just one goal and allowed six through the opening two games.
Mainz has faced Bayern Munich 31 times in their history, and they have come away with the win on just four occasions. They have won just one game against Bayern since the 2012 season, and have lost their last four in a row to the German giants. The last game between the two sides was a 6-0 whitewash in March of this year. Tough to see Mainz doing much damage here.

Spanish La Liga Week 3
Villarreal vs Real Madrid (Monday 3am AEST)
We are now two games into the Spanish La Liga season and there has already been some really interesting results. Barcelona went down to Athletic Bilbao in week one and Real Madrid failed to secure the three points at home against Real Valladolid in week two. Real will be back on the road this weekend as they face off against Villarreal on Monday morning.
Villarreal have one draw and one loss in their opening two games but have faced off against some pretty tough opponents, particularly Lavante away from home in week two. Villarreal are one La Liga team that actually has a really good record against Real Madrid, particularly at home.
They have picked up at least one point in four of their last six games against Real Madrid, including a win away from home in January of 2018. They have claimed draws in both of their last two home games against Madrid and have scored at least two goals in their last three games against them. We think Villarreal are great value to secure a point this week.

Italian Serie A
Juventus vs Napoli (Sunday 4.45am AEST)
The game of the week in European soccer sees Italian giants Juventus and Napoli facing off against each other on Sunday morning. Both sides started the season with a win in week one and will be looking to get early dominance over their main rivals in the race for the title.
Juventus were victorious over Parma away from home after defender Girogio Chiellini found the back of the net in the 21st minute. Cristiano Ronaldo added a second but it was reversed due to an offside ruling via VAR. Napoli couldn’t keep a clean sheet against Fiorentina in week as they allowed three goals, but still managed to find the win, pummelling four into the back of the net including a brace to Insigne.
Juve have had the wood over Napoli in recent history, having been defeated just once in the two sides last six encounters. Their defence looked on song against Parma on the weekend as they allowed just two shots on target on their way to a clean sheet. We think they are good value to win at home.
