We’ve got another huge day of AFL fantasy tournaments on our hands for the historic Anzac Day clash between the Bombers and the Magpies. Defenders: S. Murray, J. Howe
Sam Murray ($7.2mil) looks to be one of the pickups of the year for the Pies, with his elite skills and dash off halfback being a big factor in the Pies great 2018 form. He will continue to accumulate and post big fantasy scores, so get him in while he’s still cheap.
Jeremy Howe ($12.9mil) is a big game player and is sure to make an impact on Anzac Day. He’s been a little bit quiet this year, but law of averages and the big occasion has him making a statement this week.
Midfielders: J. De Goey, S. Pendlebury, J. Aish
Jordan De Goey ($10.7mil) made a successful return from suspension in the Pies huge win over the Crows in Round 4. He’s an integral part of their midfield group and will look to build on last week’s performance.
Scott Pendlebury ($15.9mil) loves the big occasion and is an obvious pick, while James Aish ($10.7mil) has made huge strides this season and is still cheap in relation to his output.
Forwards: J. Thomas, M. Guelfi, J. Stringer
Josh Thomas ($11.4mil) has been tremendous this season and should find a place in your team while he’s cheap. Matt Guelfi ($5.4mil) was impressive in his debut and should be a lock in everyone’s fantasy teams at his current basement price, while Jake Stringer ($9.7mil) looked back to his best against the Power last weekend and could have another huge game.
Ruck: B. Grundy
Brodie Grundy ($16.0mil) is the obvious pick in the ruck and should dominant Bellchambers both in the taps and around the ground. His last three games have resulted in massive scores of 127, 141 and 126 and we expect him to have another big game here.
