The 2017 MLB Season is now in full swing and with it we are happy to present another round of betting tips for the key games this Tuesday, the 25th of April.
Chicago Cubs at Pittsburgh Pirates (10.05am AEST ESPNHD 2)
Chicago travel to PNC Park in Pittsburgh to take to the Pirates in a three game series. This is the second meeting between these two teams, with the Pirates sweeping the Cubs in the first series. The Cubs bring in Brett Anderson, the left hand pitcher is 1-0 this season but did give up six runs in over 3 innings in his last start over the Brewers. Chicago are 10-8 this season and need a strong series here to gain some consistency early in the year. The Pirates are 8-10 early on and bring in Chad Kuhl who has shown form early with a 2.60 ERA and held the Cardinals to two runs last start. The Pirates need to fix some problems within the team, they have allowed 15 unearned runs and a National League high 17 errors in their first 18 games.

Washington Nationals at Colorado Rockies (11.40am AEST)
Both teams are off to a flyer in the National League and lead their divisions. The Nationals are 12-5 and just swept the Mets in the best of three games. Washington are yet to name a pitcher for this game, and it will highly unlikely be Steven Strasburg who has left the team on paternity leave. The Nationals have outstanding batting at the moment with Bryce Harper leading the team and the league with a .393 average.
Colorado has surprised everyone early as they lead their division early in the year ahead of Arizona. They will start lefty Tyler Anderson in this one who is 1-3 and has a high ERA of 7.32.

Los Angeles Dodgers at San Francisco Giants (1.15pm AEST)
The Dodgers open a four game series against the Giants on Tuesday afternoon. Hyun-Jin Rye is set to pitch the first game against the Giants at AT&T Park.
He has struggled early and hasn't been able to gain any effectiveness and composure has he sits 0-3 so far this season with an ERA of 5.87. The Dodgers are 9-10 early and have started a bit sluggish, they got one win out of the D-Backs series but were smashed around the park in the other two, giving up a total of 24 runs in back to back losses.
San Francisco are marked as a team that should be up there in the standings, but early on they have been put back in their place and need some changes to happen. This team has all round talent especially on the defensive end, but a lack composure and a inconsistent bull pen. They just finished a series with the Rockies who swept them and were only able to gather eight home runs in three games. Mark Cain 1-0 will hopefully give them a well needed win as they haven't tasted that since last Tuesday.
