We are back with another slate of mid week racing tips for this Wednesday, the 21st of June. Today we preview the 8 race card at Bendigo and the 7 race card at Canterbury and give our best bet and best value for both.

Think this horse is a fantastic chance of winning today. Did nothing first up but that was clearly a run for fitness, and he was much better last start when runner-up by a nose over 1300m at Sandown. Up to 1400m suits and showed last start he handles the soft. Ready to peak, $7 looks a big price. Each way.
Best Value: Race 6 Trojan Storm
$11 available for this horse who ran 2nd on his debut in a 1200m maiden at Sandown. A maiden taking on BM64 grade isn't easy, but he was eye-catching on debut and the step up to 1400m here suits. Gets a 1kg swing on Deadly Choices who beat him on debut (and is also a good value bet here), draws well and can go very close.
CANTERBURY RACING TIPS

R4 - Prometheus (Best Bet) / Domed EW
R5 - Eshtikraaj / Law Major EW
R6 - Noire / Smart As EW
R7 - Philosophy / Cleeve Hill EW (Best Value)
Best Bet: Race 4 Prometheus
Think the $6 available about Prometheus is great value. He bumped into a very smart one last start in Nettoyer and previous to that his form was good. McEvoy for Team Snowden is a good booking and probably just has to repeat last start to win.
Best Value: Race 7 Cleeve Hill
Wide open race to end the day and all the money has been for the Godolphin horse Philosophy, who should be hard to beat, but Cleeve Hill bolted in last start at track and distance with 59.5kg on a Heavy 10. Takes on the boys here so drops in weight, and has a wide barrier to contend with, but she's won three of her past four starts and can't be underestimated. Think we'll get $10+ on the day.
