Both favourites were victorious in the first leg of their respective Champions League Semi Final matchups, which should make for some interesting second legs which kick off Wednesday morning. We preview both games and five our betting tips below.
UEFA Champions Semi Finals Leg 2 Betting Tips
Juventus vs Monaco (Wednesday 4.45am AEST)
The unstoppable Juventus will host Monaco Wednesday morning whilst taking a handy 2-0 aggregate lead into the second leg. After their victory in leg one, the Italian giants have now kept a clean sheet in six straight Champions League games, which includes games against high scoring teams in Barcelona and Monaco.
It’s a daunting prospect for the French side, who will have to win 2-0 to send the game to overtime or by at least 3 goals to advance to the next round. History is also against them, as no French side in European competition history has ever beaten Juventus in Italy through 14 games.
Juventus will play extremely defensively here and given that they can allow two goals and still advance to the next round they wont be taking any chances. With no real value in the H2H market we like the Italians to keep this a low scoring match.

Atletico Madrid vs Real Madrid (4.45am AEST)
Real Madrid, aka Ronaldo Madrid scored a massive home win in leg one last week against their cross town rivals as the superstar forward netted a hat-trick en-route to a 3-0 victory. It makes it near impossible for Atletico to advance here, who will need a 3-0 victory to take it to overtime or a 4 goal win to advance.
History is also against Atletico here, as no team has ever overturned a 3-0 first leg away deficit in the Champions League. The two teams have faced in the knockout stage of the last three Champions League ties and Atletico are yet to record a single victory throughout the meetings.
With a 3-0 lead, one would think Real will go defensive for this clash, however, it’s not in their nature to do that so both teams will most likely be hunting goals here and we expect the game to contrast that of Juventus vs Monaco.
