Australia’s richest horse race and the richest turf race in the world, ‘The Everest’, is just around the corner. Royal Randwick racecourse in Sydney will once again host the event this Saturday, the 13th of October.
To celebrate the massive race, the largest bookmaker in the country, TAB, are giving their customers the chance to win the same amount of money that is up for grabs in the race itself, a cool $10,000,000!
TAB announced the promotion through the week and while it’s likely going to be one that goes unclaimed due to its tough nature, you’d be silly not to throw your hat in the ring because it’s absolutely free to enter!
In the 12-horse field, all you need to do is pick the first ten horses, in order, and you’ll walk away with the $10,000,000 in cold hard cash. Like we said, it’s a tough one. If more than one person is able to pick the finishers in order, the prize pool will be split evenly.
We liken the promotion a bit to that of picking a perfect bracket in March Madness. Roughly, if every horse has an equal chance to win, you’d have about a 0.0000000004 chance of picking the first 10 horses in a 12 horse race. However, for free entry and $10,000,000 why not have a crack!
