The NRL is one of the most popular sports in Australia and for punters who want to take their knowledge of players and the game to another level then NRL Daily Fantasy is the perfect thing for you.
Moneyball is Australia’s largest real money daily and weekly fantasy sports platform that gives participants the chance to take on each other in an attempt to win huge cash prizes.
Punters are able to take part in daily or weekly fantasy contests with buy-ins ranging from $2 to $500 with selected tournaments having huge guaranteed prize pools.
The game is simple, once joining you are given a salary cap of $60,000 and you are required to use the cap to select nine NRL players who you believe will perform the best on the day and earn the most amount of points for your team.
Your team will be made up of one hooker, two front rowers, two back rowers or lock forwards, one halfback or five-eighth, two wingers or centres and a fullback.
Each player that you pick will earn or lose points for your team throughout the match in accordance with the Moneyball scoring system.
To increase the excitement you are able to follow your team and each individual’s progress by tracking the Moneyball interactive dashboard.
You are able to see where you and other teams rank on a live ladder that is updated throughout each match.
This will help you to progress your fantasy skills as you can determine which players are performing at a high level whilst some are letting your team down.
Here is how the scoring system works:
Daily Fantasy Sports involves a lot of strategy and skill as it isn’t about just picking the best NRL players as superstar players may not rank highly in fantasy points - punters need to determine which players will perform at a high level against their opponents and which match ups are the best.
Private leagues can be created from as little as $2, which allows for you to take on your mates.
Throughout the 2016 NRL season Moneyball will be offering fantasy tournaments on individual matches, tournaments that include every match played that day or tournaments that include the entire weekend all ranging in buy-in level.
Always Gamble Responsibly.
