Not overly confident but this looks a nice price at $6.50. Ran a good race on debut to finish 2nd at this track and that followed up a trial win which was on heavy ground. Gets a good run up on speed from the inside barrier, should handle the ground and gets the 2kg claim.
Best Value: Race 5 Round Mountain Gem
Possibly looking for longer but will be better suited here second up. Has won 3 from 6 on Soft ground and has yet to win from 8 starts on Good ground so he should go well on a heavy track today at $8.
COONAMBLE RACING TIPS

Best Bet: Race 4 Bob's A Dazzler
Failed last start but his form previous to that would be good enough to win here. G Ryan jumps off Foursome to ride Bob's A Dazzler which is a decent hint. Foursome the obvious danger.
Best Value: Race 7 Handful Of Aces
At $8.50 looks a decent each way bet. Has placed in 6 of 10 starts over 1400m including last start and last time he was in a grade similar to this he won.
STONY CREEK RACING TIPS

Best Bet: Race 4 A Sterling Dash
Looks a race in two and I'd prefer to take J Mott over the apprentice. Mott and McArdle are a good combination and this horse has trialled well leading into this first up run.
Best Value: Race 2 Go The Wolf
Very quiet trial for this horse in the lead up to his debut here. This is one of Craig Newitt's only three rides on the card and from the good draw he can run a big race at $8.
